Title Don't be swayed by hardship
Gospel of John (48) Do not be shaken by suffering (John 6:66-71)
You reap what you sow (Galatians 6:9). There is no tomorrow in a life that avoids burden and commitment. If we embrace the holy burden, the burden of our entire life becomes rather small, and when we avoid the holy burden, the burden of our entire life becomes rather large. When you continue to avoid the burden and encounter an urgent problem, say, “God! Please bless me.” God says, “No!” But if you are willing to bear the sacred burden, you will say, “God! Please bless me.” Even if you don't say, God, who knows your heart's wishes, will give you abundant blessings beyond your thoughts.
The Lord longed for a few disciples. Of course, the Lord did not unconditionally want a few. But since human instinct does not like the truth, there are always few people who follow the truth. That is why the Lord taught us to get rid of the instincts of the crowd and to enter through the narrow gate to follow the truth.
The final victory belongs to truth and those who follow it. If we follow the truth, we usually become a minority in the field of history, but as time passes and history passes, the minority eventually wins. A prime doesn't end in a prime. If the few who follow the truth do not give up on the great vision in the Lord, an amazing influence to lead the world will soon come out, and that influence will resonate with posterity and even the kingdom of heaven.
<Don't be swayed by hardships>
Now, live with the ‘philosophy of dreams’. Even if life becomes difficult because of it, don't be shaken. If you decide to go through the narrow gate anyway, there is no reason to be shaken by hardship. Rather, praise God for allowing us to pass through the narrow gate of blessing. Such praise and worship of faith changes circumstances and leaves a tremendous impact in the future.
Even in the midst of great suffering, Job confessed this. “The LORD gave, and the LORD took away; blessed be the name of the LORD (Job 1:21).” He thought of a starting point from which he was born in the midst of suffering. Then, God's grace was greatly highlighted, and we were able to worship God. In the end, I received a double blessing later. The greatest secret to overcoming adversity is in the 'Thanksgiving Worship'.
Man brought nothing with him when he was born. In that sense, everything you have now is a gift. Food, clothing, and shelter is a gift, children are a gift, health is a gift, and gaining faith is the greatest gift above all. When we deeply realize the meaning of such a gift, the complete transfer of sovereignty to entrust our lives to God will be accomplished, and then we will be able to think and be grateful for God's will even in incomprehensible suffering.
The cause of suffering is usually not realized until dawn after the night of suffering has passed. When the storm of pain passes and I stand on the calm beach at dawn, I nod my head and confess this. "God! That is why you allowed me to suffer this pain.” Pray for the faith and wisdom to advance to such realization. When we believe and give thanks for God's blessed plan even in the midst of suffering, God will dramatically turn the flow of suffering into a flow of blessing.
