Genesis 47:13 The famine was so severe that there was no food in every direction, and the land of Egypt and Canaan was debilitated by famine.

Joseph's policy was harsh austerity. It was a thorough policy that had nothing to do with popularity. However, if they hadn't paid money to sell food and grain, they wouldn't have survived the 7 years of famine. Going out for free is always going to fall apart. It was able to survive seven years of famine because the price was paid and a fair distribution was made.
Why did you implement this policy? Think of it in terms of psychological consciousness. It is not easy for a person who has been accustomed to long years of abundance to implement an austerity policy overnight. It means that you will be able to save money only if you implement a policy that makes it difficult to make a living. Because of the long years of abundance, the Egyptians refused to take responsibility for themselves.
Why do young people have a lot of resentment? I always know that I will give it because I have always received it, but I resent it for not giving it. That is why it is said that filial piety comes from poor families.

What is Joseph's policy?
1) Reduce the size unconditionally.

ex3) A brother who drives a foreign car and doesn't buy a meal for the church people - The maintenance cost of the car is high... Eventually, the car is sold.
ex4) People who pay 145,000 won each for their cell phones... It's a life where you have to sell your cell phone first.
Joseph reduced the scale of the lives of all the people of Egypt. You have to live a simple life with or without money. You have to reduce the scale of your life so that you can focus on living for the Lord. Businesses that survive are also reduced when there is a boom.
There is no guaranteed life. Our current situation is a state of abundance. Reduce the scale and prepare for a famine. There is no guaranteed life. Reduce the size when you have free time.
2) Never blame and go beyond your limits.
Joseph was a slave and came from prison, but he transcended it.
Don't blame the environment, the body, or the education.
ex) Environment - Ruth in Ruth 1 - He did not blame the beggar's environment. It was the worst, but when we went out relying on God, we met Boaz and became the ancestor of the Messiah.
Flesh-Jacob in Genesis 32- The hip bone was broken and he limped, but he did not stop walking. Face? key? body? health? brains? Don't blame it all.
Education - Jesus' disciples - they were criminals without education, but when they were caught by Jesus, they became people who changed the times.
If there is nothing, shouldn't we hang on more? If it's not enough, shouldn't it be that the more you lack, the harder you run?
Why does God give suffering? It means to be sensitive to your spiritual senses.
