Title Don't Worry About Nothing

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything
In the new year of 2006, we want to live happily ever after. I want to live with joy and hope. But how can we be happy, and how can we be happy if we are weighed down by various worries and anxieties? Worry not only leads to unhappiness for oneself, but also has the potential to bring unhappiness to family members and neighbors who watch it. And worry doesn't help at all to build up the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, the text exhorts us to “do not be anxious about anything.”
In the old days, when cars were scarce, a missionary drove a car on a country road, and a woman was walking with a large bag, sweating and suffering. But after walking for a while, I looked back and saw a country woman carrying a bundle on her head and continuing to suffer. When the missionary asked, “No, why are you suffering so much without putting down the package?” “Thank you for taking me to the car, but how can I put down the luggage as well?” Even fleas have a face!” he replied.
It sounds funny, but there are a lot of people who believe in Jesus like this today. In other words, the purpose of Jesus coming to this earth was to take care of our troubles and worries. And our Christian privilege is that we can cast all our worries on Jesus. Nevertheless, we can often see sad cases of people groaning due to various concerns and falling into pain and anguish alone, whether they believe in Jesus or not.
Could it be that you are not that kind of person? But know for sure, if you are concerned now, you are losing to the devil. Keep that in mind. The devil is always hiding behind worries and worries. And the devil tries to destroy our souls and bodies with our cares and worries. Doctors and psychologists today say, “Most diseases stem from anxiety.” If you are troubled by a problem right now, you are ill. And not following God's will, but being oppressed by the devil.
The Bible tells us. “God has not given us a spirit of worry and fear, but of power, love and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7) Friends, what kind of parents in the world would rejoice when their children are troubled by anxiety and stress? Likewise, God doesn't want us to worry, worry, sigh and groan over various things.
Guys, what kind of God do we believe in? Are you a dead God? Are you an incompetent God? Or is it an indifferent God? Let's try it together. “God is the living God! Almighty God!” Everyone, I believe that our God is a good God. God is a God with the power to solve the problems we are concerned about. Therefore, cast your worries upon the mighty God.
The word “to entrust” means “to roll” in Hebrew. Think about it! It is very difficult to pull a large boulder up a mountain, but it is easy to roll it down a mountain. In other words, when you have a problem, don't grieve and be anxious on your own, but roll it over to God. I'll say it again. God wants to take over your burdens today.
Regarding this, the Bible says: “Commit your way to the Lord. Trust in him, and he will do it.” (Psalm 37:5) “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will come to pass.” (Proverbs 16:3) “Cast your burden on the Lord; will never grant you” (Psalm 55:22) “Cast all your anxieties on the Lord, for he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
Guys, don't worry about people. Don't worry about why that person hates me (he will harass or try to harm). It's that person, anyway, I just have to forgive, love, and bless that person. And you just have to entrust that person to God. And don't worry about money either. Don't worry about life. The Bible says “Do not worry about what you will eat, what you will drink, or what you will wear” (Matthew 6:25).
We have a millionaire father, and if we worry about food, drink, and clothes, we are disrespecting him. Gentlemen, don't look down on Heavenly Father. If you don't have money, you just have to believe and pray that Heavenly Father, who is the richest person in the world, will give you. He is the lord of all things, and if the children of God worry about money, this is not the will of Heavenly Father. And don't worry about work. How do I do this? Don't moan alone. Jesus said. “Martha, you are openly anxious and troubled about many things. Don’t do that.” (Luke 10:41)
Statistics show that Korean men in their 40s have the highest mortality rate in the world. Why? Isn't it because of people who are nothing but money, and worries about work? In other words, worry and anxiety kill people. The same goes for faith. If you keep worrying about your worries for a long time, your faith will drop, your joy will disappear, and eventually bad things will happen. So Jesus says, “Take care of yourselves. Otherwise, your heart will be weighed down with the anxieties of life, and calamity will come” (Luke 21:34).
Look at Peter. When he looked at Jesus and went boldly, he experienced a miracle of walking on a stormy sea, but when he saw the wind, he was worried and worried, so he fell into the water. Today, while you worry about people, money, life, and work, your faith is weakened. ability goes down. And you become shabby and small.
Therefore, the great men of the faith are those who have lived a life of constant entrustment with little or great concerns. Ladies and gentlemen, it is not the person who is worried and anxious alone who is good at living a religious life, but a person who trusts and trusts God and keeps peace no matter how much anxiety is really good in the life of faith.
Because there is no God who can take care of our worries, the people of the world try to forget our worries through discipline and morals, or through sleeping pills, alcohol, drugs, or wrong habits. However, while it may be a temporary method, it is not a fundamental method. Keep that in mind. When all kinds of worries come, the fundamental solution is to leave it to God. When we entrust with prayer, entrust with supplication, and entrust with thanksgiving, our worries will disappear and the peace of God will come to us.
And don't forget these words. “No temptation has overtaken you except what you are able to bear, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Even if you look at the case, the big problem is, “God, what should I do? If I do this, I will die, right?” I went through an urgent case, but as time passed, the problem was eventually solved and I was able to live comfortably with God's grace. This is because God has not allowed any temptation beyond what we can bear.
But if you don't know this fact, you'll be like, "Oh my gosh, I'm going to die! It's a big deal!" He said, stomping his feet in agony and anguish. Moreover, when you encounter problems in a foreign land, the worries and stresses are more likely to become more intense and intense than when you encounter problems in your homeland. Moreover, when believers face a problem, if they cannot solve it in the world and if they do not entrust it to God through prayer, they will be gripped with greater anxiety.
Guys, what happened? Inform and entrust it to God, who knows every circumstance and circumstance in detail. And pray until the peace that God gives you comes. God gives you a wonderful peace. In the world, we must die with anxiety, but if God gives us peace, we will rather overflow with joy and gratitude.
That is why Peter was able to sleep comfortably in the prison even when the day of his execution approached tomorrow, and Paul was able to sing praises even in the deep prison in Philippi. Guys, what are you worried about today? The Lord says “Don't worry about anything! I will take all responsibility! Believe in God, believe also in me.”
Even if you die when you die, let's not die with sorrow. If possible, let's sing and give thanks until the moment we die, and then die. Worrying never reveals the glory of God. Rather, I pray that you will spend the year 2006 in front of us more happily by leaving your worries to God, gaining peace, singing praises, and moving forward with thanksgiving.
