Title Early morning prayer sermon (disciple training 2nd)_9/9

About two months ago, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game Home Run Derby was held in the United States. At that time, a beautiful drama unfolded in the Major League Baseball. It was Josh Hamilton and his high school coach, Chris Counsel.
When I was in high school, Hamilton promised Chris that if I became a major leaguer and went to the All-Star Game, he would be my batting ball pitcher, and then Chris would do it to protect Hamilton's dream. Then, after graduating from college, he became a major leaguer with the first place in the all-American draft, but after spending about 4 years suffering from drug addiction and suffering due to an unexpected car accident and an aftermath, he is now recovering and standing in that position.
Do you have a dream now? It sounds like a banal question, but it's a really important question, so I want you to ask yourself again. Today, while listening to the story of the major leaguer, I did not give up on my dream despite many hardships and adversity in order to keep the promise of the coach who knew how to cherish the dream of a child even if it seemed like nonsense questions and even those silly questions I think that Josh Hamilton, who was able to keep his promise in the Home Run Derby, is the model of life we should look at today.
Today we would like to see our hope, King David. He also wonders if he would have been able to get through the years of excruciating pain if he had not had a dream. According to today's text verse 4, David was 30 years old and Li Li was the age of Confucius, and he became a unified kingdom of Han.
My husband and I sometimes talk about the future of Ui-hyeon and Shi-hyeon. Of course, like all parents, I hope that the child will be the head, but not the tail. I want to study well so that I can surpass my uncles in the Jesus Village Church, earn a lot of money to help the church, and to feed the relief fund. But before that, my husband and I have a prayer. This is a prayer that wants God to be with us so that we can live the life of David, the main character of today's text. I want you to have the experience of meeting God in the extremes of life like David, even once in your life in realization and vision. Children want to make a confession like this. Psalm 84:10. ‘It is better to be a gatekeeper in the house of God than to dwell in the tents of the wicked, for a day in the courts of the Lord is better than a thousand days elsewhere.
That's why I'm afraid that that position, what it has, is a position without God, and that if it were wealth, it would be poison to two children and ruin their lives. Rather, I think that the poor who are ignorant of the world will be more blessed in their lives.
And yesterday while preparing the text, I saw a heartbreaking incident. As young people may know, there is a talent called ‘Ahn Jae-hwan’ who was famous for marrying comedian Jeong Seon-hee. that he committed suicide. When I saw the article that once seemed to be going well, but had to give up my life due to a lot of debt, I couldn't help but sigh at the situation in which many people in the world value their lives more than wealth.
Jesus Village Churches, our second disciples, are you walking with God in your life?
Do you share your life with that God and take refuge in it? I think we are too obsessed with results and not attached to them. Let's not dwell on the results. If you live, you will experience a life reversal like David in today's text. It will not be a jackpot like the lottery, but if we keep the heart that God has given us, the Lord will surely work in our lives.
Amen..
