Title Encounter/John 1:43-51
1. It is your unconditional choice that I met the Lord.
In a meeting, there is always a partner. Who wants to meet when, where, and for what? Meetings are usually accompanied by the above agenda. We met the Lord because we called you. I mean, you wanted to see me first. This is the doctrine and theology of our Presbyterian Church. The Bible says that He foreordained and ordained before the ages. In the end, we came to believe in Jesus not because we wanted to believe, but because God chose me (Ephesians 2:8). All I can do is to be loyal to God, who has chosen a sinner who lacks knowledge and lack of knowledge. I pray that you will live the word to be faithful to death.
2. Those who meet the Lord will discover life.
3. You made me become a missionary by meeting the Lord.
Meetings have an object and a purpose. What is God going to do with me? It was to become a people of salvation and to live as missionaries. To live the life of a Nazarite. It was to become a missionary of salt and light in this world. All of the great people who appear in the Bible and world leaders of faith are those who have become missionaries by meeting the Lord. Moses, who met God on Mount Horeb, became the hero of the Exodus, and Saul, who met Jesus on the road to Damascus, turned into Paul the evangelist. In this way, the disciples who met the Lord have changes, joy, and missions follow. Today, we came to meet this Lord. I hope that whenever you are struggling and lonely, you will meet this Lord and be comforted and live as saints. (Amen)
