Genesis 1:14-15 Explanation⑪ (Enlightenment through signs)

Through this luminous body, God said, “Fulfill signs, seasons, dates, and years.” The most problematic thing here is the word ‘sign’. The interpretation of the word 'sign' is diametrically opposed by those who know God and those who do not know God.

Those who do not know God regard this ‘sign’ as a sign of their destiny. In other words, it is believed that through the changes of the sun, moon, and stars, God's predetermined will is revealed. Many ancient people viewed years of famine as a god's distrust of the king now ruling. So, in times of famine, they caused rebellion and revolution. So, what the rulers fear the most is this change of the sun, the change of the weather. It still is. Even now, many people interpret that when there is a flood and a famine, God does not like the current ruler. Also, it is said that when you see stardust falling from the sky, a large person is dead. In other words, all fate is fixed, and the sign of this fate, which we are not aware of, is revealed through the changes of the stars, the sun, and the moon. In this way, people think that the will of the sky is determined, and they try to read the signs through the changes in the heavenly bodies.

In contrast to this, what we call a 'sign' to those who know God is to discover the rules for the change of the diary. For example, when the sunset turns red in the evening, it is a sign that the weather is getting hotter, the length of day and night changes when the position of the sun changes slightly, and signs that a typhoon is coming or heavy rain is coming.

What about a diligent person? By diligently observing changes in the weather, changes in the time or location of the sun, and the relationship between the weather and rain or wind, we find a rule. So, if there is a big rain, we prepare for it, and if there is a drought, we dig a well or move livestock to a place with water.

This is the sign of those who know God. People who do not know God struggle to find out the fate of the nation and the fate of individuals through things such as the movement of stars, the falling of shooting stars, the color of the moon, and the degree of blazing the sun. You will develop a clever, scientific mindset that prepares for recurring events and guides others to prepare for danger.

This is the difference between people who think superstitiously, folks, and those who make scientific observations. In ancient times, only the people of God were capable of scientific thinking. Others did not dare to observe and study nature. Nature is a god, how can you count the toes of the gods, count the hairs of the gods, and touch the heart of the gods? You just have to live by fate and die by fate. It comes like leaves and goes like leaves. But God's people, because nature is God's creation, an object of inquiry, and having rules, study it meticulously to look for signs, sow when sowing, and harvest when harvesting to prepare.

The superstitious person does not realize that anything happens to him because it is all coincidence. Superstitious people are people who do not realize even if they keep doing the same thing over and over again. But those who think scientifically get hit once, not twice. Because once you get hit, you know everything. he studies. Observe why this is happening and predict what will happen next. It's very scientific and logical, so you don't get hit twice. So it doesn't float away every time there's a flood or dry up every time there's a drought.

Today, we can see how much our society is ruled by chance if we look at how many times we do the same thing without realizing it. People have a very unscientific mindset and rely on chance.

But God's people are not like that. If you get hit once, you won't make the same mistake twice. Because they already read the signs from there, predict scientifically what will happen in the future, and become an expert on it. Once a Christian encounters difficulties, he becomes an expert on them. Example) Thoughts to have when something bad happens when you go out to play on a Sunday

What category do you belong to? Are you simply trusting your intuition and your sixth sense? Or are you someone who has the wisdom of observing and examining something once it has happened, discovering a law, and preparing for it to never happen again? Surprisingly, most people of faith decide everything by their intuition and intuition.

We are not the ones who make decisions based on our sixth sense and intuition. We are people who need to understand the signs of God. No matter how much I explain the miracles and experiences in me to people who do not believe, they cannot understand me. You have to explain it in a way that makes sense. That's the law of nature.

Conclusion.

I don't understand what Christians do from the point of view of non-believers. It is our responsibility and our mission to grapple with the parts that we do not understand and to explain them so that they can be understood. It is our mission to awaken awareness of the signs.
