Title: Being with Jesus

Text: Ephesians 2:1-10

I have been talking about the three spiritual blessings in Chapter 1 over the past two hours. In other words, it was the three blessings that he chose me//forgives my sins// and made me an heir to the kingdom of heaven. However, Chapter 2 teaches that this blessing is “salvation”. If you look at verses 5 and 6, these three blessings are expressed in different words from the perspective of salvation: “He made them alive, raised them up, and made them sit down.”1. save me

Do you admit that you saved me in verse 5 When I was dead, I need to realize that Jesus is saying that he raised me. When God says you are dead, he is not referring to the physical point of view, but when the spiritual being is dead. Look at verse 1. “He raised you, who were dead in trespasses and sins.” My soul was dead in trespasses and trespasses.

First, it means that "because you followed the customs of this world," you have a fault and sin. Most of the ways of this world and the ways of the world are absolutely opposed to God. For the easiest example, the commandment to love your enemies, and to think that it's okay to be hit in the left cheek if you've been hit in the right cheek, etc. are all so absurd things God's way.

Next, in the second half of verse 2, it says, “I followed the prince of the power of the air.” He is a sinner and a dead man. In other words, he lived as a slave to Satan. Satan works among those who disobey God. Whatever Satan wants, he wants the saints to live, act, think and even believe in Jesus and live the life of the world according to the world's way.

Third, he says, “I have lived according to the lusts of the flesh.” He is a sinner and a dead man. What are the lusts of the body and mind? Praise, honor, wealth, power, status, selfishness, … . God saved us from being completely spiritually dead because we fell into these three states.2. raise me up

What did you do after you saved me like this? made you stand up why do you wake me up You wake up to work. You get it to work.

"Here is Jesus. Meet him. I didn't know him before I met him, but after meeting him, my life has changed and my life has changed," Jesus raises them up to become salesmen.3. sit me down

What do you do after raising us up so that we can live as witnesses of the gospel? Is that the way to end? Do you get rid of them after you use them and eat them?

He said he would make him sit in heaven. When you finish all the work you have to do on this earth, you will be seated in that heavenly kingdom. The word sitting contains rest, peace, glory, and overflowing comfort. Furthermore, while we live on this earth, your servants will set us down in a heavenly place.

Remember it well. It's not heaven, but it's a place like heaven. There is also comfort and peace and joy in that place. There you will be refreshed, refreshed, visionary and wise while you sit and rest. So you will be able to get up again and go to work.

But do you know where the "heavenly place" sits us down? It is the church that becomes the body of Jesus. That is why He saved us to form the body of the Lord by gathering us into the church. He told me to be a witness for Jesus.

To become a church that fulfills this mission, and to become a church that exists for this mission, this should be our dream and hope.
