We live in a time when the world is changing. Communism changed to capitalism. The US and the Soviet Union changed from confrontation to reconciliation. Not only that, our society is also changing. The sense of crisis that we will fall into a backward country if we live like this is changing our way of life. There is a movement to work 30 minutes more and to save 10%. These changes give hope for the future.
The Apostle Paul is praying earnestly for the Ephesian church members through the text. The key is to want the lives of the Ephesians to be changed in accordance with God's will.
Through these words, we need to know what we need to change. I pray that you will change the things you want to change quickly so that you can become a saint that is pleasing to God and a saint who lives with joy and hope in your life.
1. You have to change your body.
Ephesians 3:16 {Strengthen your inner being with power through his Spirit according to the riches of his glory}
A person's success or failure has a profound relationship with the person's constitution.
The ancient Greek philosopher (Hippocrates) said that
{People are born with 4 types of constitution}
1) Temperamental / He has a good side of being optimistic and friendly, but he is always anxious and emotional in everything, and he starts well but does not succeed until the end.
2) Bile quality / Very willful. Practical, adventurous, decisive, good, but easily angered, hasty, assertive, and less sympathetic, so there are always difficulties.
3) Melancholic / sensitive to everything, analytical, scientific, idealistic, and sacrificial, but always passive, self-centered, melancholy, and resentful.
4) phlegmatic / humorous, sincere, practical and quiet, but also negligent, stubborn, and indecisive.
If the constitution is weak, the parents are worried. Weak body needs to be changed to strong.
Which constitution do you belong to? Everyone belongs to one of these four constitutions.
The famous (Peter), John, Thomas, Nathanael, Moses, etc. were all weak at first.
However, when they received the Holy Spirit, their constitution changed and they were used as great workers. (Paul) knew that the outward man was governed by the inner man, so he prayed earnestly (change the inner man). I hope that this prayer will be the content of your prayers and mine.
When the famous (Elijah) was praying on Mount Carmel, fire came from heaven and burned up the burnt offering, wood, stone, earth, and water.
* Burnt offering = Blood * Wood = Pride (form) * Stone = Perseverance * Soil = Nature, flesh (sin nature, evil, poison) * Ditching water = Dirty thoughts
Zechariah 4:6 {Neither by strength nor by power, but by the power of the Holy Spirit} Hymn 197 (This world is rough and I am weak) Receive the Holy Spirit through prayer, changing weak and dirty constitutions into strong and clean ones I wish you time.
2. You must change your mind.
A man was going to church and said to a district member {It's such a nice weather? How grateful are you?} [Have you seen this kind of weather before? It was sunny yesterday too, wasn't it?} He answered bluntly.
A middle school student received the meal and offered a prayer of thanks to God. The mother who heard that said, {Baby! Whoever hears it, will think I've starved you until now. Don't pray like that!}
It's a thousand miles away / It's the same human mind, but it's so different. Happiness and blessings lie in the mindset. So what about Paul?
Ephesians 3:17 Pray that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, rooted and grounded in love.
It is because a person's prosperity or failure depends not on education or environment, but on the person's heart.

First, we must change our material focus to Jesus centering through faith.

* Jesus is the One who redeems our poverty and gives us abundant wealth.
Like Zacchaeus, who has changed from being material-centered to Jesus-centered, I hope that you will become truly happy people who live happily even after giving away their possessions.
Second, we must change hate into love.
The heart that causes failure is hatred of others.
1 John 3:15 {Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that whoever murders does not have eternal life in him}
* If a person has feelings of hatred, it is an act of murder to himself, an act of uncleanness to everyone, and an act of blocking prayer to God.
Today, there are people who hate society or cause social problems by hating people, and hate is spreading more and more in families and churches. You have to turn it into love.
Proverbs 14:30 {A peace of heart is the life of the flesh, but envy is the rottenness of the bones.
If you have a loving heart, you give peace to yourself and benefit others. make the atmosphere good.
can become one with each other. True happiness resides in the home. The work of God takes place in the church. The country develops constructively.
1 Peter 1:22 {You have purified your souls by obedience to the truth, so that you have come to love your brother without deceit. Love one another with all your heart.}
Everyone! You have to change your mind. We need to change our mind to value material things more than people. You must have Jesus as the master of your heart by faith. Also, we must have a loving heart by driving away envy and anger and obeying the truth (the Word). I hope that you will live a healthy, peaceful and bold life on this earth.
Everyone! Modern people have a lot to change. diet, housing, and clothing. Something really needs to change. Doctors say a baby undergoes at least 40 physical changes in the first few minutes of being born. We, too, must change the nature of our lives through the Holy Spirit. You must change your heart through faith and become the owner of a loving heart by obeying the Word.
At this time when all the people are changing old thoughts and weak constitutions for a better life, we too will take the lead in improving the constitution of faith and life, changing ourselves by changing our minds, changing our homes, churches, and countries for the better, greatly contributing to the expansion of the kingdom of heaven I pray that you will become precious saints who
