Title Ephesians 05:15-21 Save the time
Content Save time
(Ephesians 5:15 21)
If you put the duvet in the sun, you can sleep under a soft duvet that evening. This is because cotton is sterilized under sunlight and becomes soft.
Even the sunlight restores old things to their original form like new ones, but even if the light of Jesus is powerful, even if many years of this world have been tainted, can you not make me new?
There are many ways to climb the mountain of life.
You can either walk or take a helicopter. Both are the same in that they "stand on the top of a mountain". However, the Bible does not focus on the conquest of normalcy. I'm putting it on the way.
There is a man named Reinhold Messner. He climbed Everest without an oxygen guide and safety device, and was the first to climb the 14 peaks of the Himalayas that are over 8,000 meters high. He said this. “It is more important which route and under what conditions to climb than it is to reach the summit. Even if the conditions and methods are different for a mountain we have already climbed, the mountain will be a constant challenge for us.”
Conquering the top of the mountain is not important. I'm saying that every step you take to the top is more important.
That's right. If reaching the top is the purpose of your life in itself, the method won't matter much. A man known as a climber second only to Messner said, "There are mountains, so I climb them."
It can be understood as an adventurous spirit and a creative spirit, but on the other hand, it cannot be denied that it is a dangerous and selfish horse full of conquest.
Messner also said:
"When I came back from a difficult and difficult mountaineering and tried to go out again after a while, why do my father and people go to dangerous places again?" he asked. Then I replied:
"I'm going because I can go. I'm going to go up because I can go up."
What did Jesus say in Luke 13:33?
This is what Herod said when he told him to flee because he had a plan to kill him.
“But today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow I must go my way.”
We all want to live a good life today. You want to rise to the top of your life. To achieve this goal, you may or may not live by trusting and relying on Jesus. In other words, you may or may not climb the mountain of life through the route of Jesus.
But today, this decision will have very important consequences for my entire life. It is because Jesus will determine whether you will live your life for the thrill of just conquering the summit, or whether each day of your life as you ascend to the summit will be valuable and meaningful time.
Years are not quiet.
Winter is approaching while life is not easy. But let's live wisely and save the time we have been given. I pray that the Holy Spirit will overflow with praise and thanksgiving to all the saints who live their lives through the way of the cross and protect them to endure this winter well.
