Establishment of domestic relationships
Ephesians 5:21
Ephesians 5:21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ
The Lord loves us. We pray that the Lord, who loves us, will receive this worship as joy in glory, even if we do our best.
Society starts as a group called us in the relationship between you and me.
And when this relationship is right, we are happy, and when this relationship is broken, we are unhappy. In this sense, society can be either heaven or hell.
But all of these relationships begin as a couple, leaving the individual and becoming you and me. The truth is, even though you and I have no choice but to be husband and wife, they form a relationship as a married couple and start a community life. And they produce children, and as parents and children, they form a family.
These families also link together to form various groups of the same category as the workplace, forming the modern term, society.
It is not possible to provide accurate information, but it is said that the term society has been used since the 18th century, and before that, only the term group or fellowship was used.
The thing is that we are insecure with two points of focus or support when installing any structure.
But once it's three, you're safe.
The same is true in our human society. It is difficult to stand alone, and even if you can stand, you are not stable, and even if you are together, you are not perfect. So we need him or them besides us.
And these human relationships should be formed into family relationships where we can rejoice together and share pain together.
There are churches that often observe the first Sunday as Children's Sunday, the second Sunday as Parents' Sunday, and the third Sunday as Couple's Sunday or Family Sunday.
Therefore, today, I would like to start thinking about the establishment of the family, which is the basis of social composition.
First: I hope to be able to establish the couple's relationship
Ephesians 5:31-33 ":31 Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh: 32 This is a great mystery, I speak of Christ and of the church: 33 But each of you also is his wife. Love as yourself, and let the wife fear her husband."
God created all things in the universe and provided all kinds of good things in the Garden of Eden. And made Adam.
The Bible says it is not good for a man to be alone.
A man is living alone in such a nice garden. It was not so good in God's eyes. So God put Adam to sleep, took his rib and made a woman, and gave Adam a mate.
God created a female Eve and brought her to a male Adam, because it is not good for people to live alone. This means that He brought a woman who was most suitable for Adam and made him a mate.
Ephesians 5:31 “Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh. 5:32 This is a great mystery, I speak of Christ and of the church.”
And says that a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to the woman, and they shall become one flesh.
This is when a man leaves his parents. It also means that parents should send their children away when they get married. In other words, the limit of interference has been exceeded.
Here we have to pick one thing up about the notions parents have about their children.
It is a matter of interference in children's lives. Dear brothers and sisters, it is absolutely necessary to guide their faith through faith, but interference in their lives is absolutely forbidden.
I still think of him as a child in my arms, and the quarrel between parent and child is enough. Discord spreads between the child and the inside, leading to divorce and a major breakdown in the family.
The couple told us to become one. Everyone, live together for a thousand years and ten thousand years. So, will the two really become one? Does my wife get sick because I'm sick? But how are they one body? But this means to live as one body. ① Being one body has one goal. ② There is only one way of life. ③There is also one pocket. ④ Faith is one.
Verses 31-33 “Therefore, a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh, and this is a great mystery. Also, fear her husband."
So, what is the secret to being one?
It is that God made a woman Eve and brought her to the man Adam, and Adam said at that time, "This is flesh of my flesh, and bones of my bones." In other words, it is my flesh and my bones, which are inseparable from me. Therefore, it is said that husband and wife should love each other, cherish, cherish, and love each other as if they were your own body.
A wife was told to fear her husband, but the word reverence is a word used by a servant to a king. And that's what we Christians are saying to God. But looking here, what does it mean for a wife to respect her husband so much? Know your husband like a king. It means to know your husband like heaven. That way, we can only become one.
Husbands serve their wives and wives treat their husbands like beggars feet If so, how unhappy would you be if you could not be one?
We must realize the secret to becoming one with love and reverence by serving each other.
This is the right establishment of the marital relationship, and I pray in the name of the Lord that all couples in the church will have a good relationship in serving and obeying each other, keeping in mind that a happy couple becomes a happy couple when their relationship is established with love and awe. .
Second: I want to be able to establish a parent-child relationship.
Ephesians 6:1-4 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right: 6:2 Honor your father and mother, for this is the first commandment with a promise. Also, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
Children, honor your parents.
It's not just about earning money, feeding, and dressing yourself up to be respectful. Rather, it is saying that when you are too old to earn a penny, and you are indebted to your children, you should respect them equally.
What if any of you have parents who suffer from dementia and are in trouble?
Do your parents spend their time chasing you like you did when I used to wear a diaper, pee and poop, cry all night long, and ask for something just for myself?
Is there a child who doesn't like to look after their parents because they do it a little bit, without thinking about the things that I used to do to my parents when I was sick and tired of doing it?
What blessings can God give to such a person?
Even if you are poor parents, do not discriminate in the slightest and respect them by serving.
Respect the sick parents by serving them as well as the healthy parents. Even if blessings are not promised, there are certain things to be done and blessings are always promised.
Ephesians 6:3 "It may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."
What more blessings than this? Blessing is a promise that He will give you all blessings.
And while children respect their parents, the text says, “Parents should bring up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.” In a nutshell, it means to cultivate the faith to keep it well. Unbelieving parents think they've done their job as parents if they get first place in schooling.
It is good to be first in school when you are a student, first in the company in society and start your own business well. But more than that, when I can boast that I have raised my children by faith, there is greater success and joy, and I am a parent who did my best.
You must raise your children in faith. So, children respect their parents, and parents raise their children in faith. When these two things happen, the parent-child relationship is immediately established. This brings happiness to the family.
I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus that you may receive the promised blessings by establishing a good relationship with the attitude of serving and obeying the relationship between parents and children.
Third: I hope we can establish a master-slave relationship.
Ephesians 6:5-9 ":5 Servants, obey your masters in the flesh with fear and trembling and with sincerity in sincerity, as to Christ, 6:6 and not as men pleasers with blindfolds, but as servants of Christ in your heart. Proverbs:7 Serve with all heart, as to the Lord and not to men:8 Knowing that whatever good each one does, it will be rewarded to the Lord, both slave and free. Be with them and stop accusing them, for you know that they and your master are in heaven, and there is no favoritism about him.”
In the days of the apostle Paul, there was a system of slavery. So there was a servant and there was a master. That is, it is a master-slave relationship.
In the old days, this master-slave relationship was a kind of hierarchical system, and the system was strict, with people above people and people below people.
In reality, there is no such thing as a class in human rights, but there is a class.
In this class, there are those who work above and those who work below. It's just a relationship of work, and it doesn't mean that people themselves are up and down.
There are those who undertake work while paying a certain human rights fee, those who have to work with a certain salary, or those who direct the work and those who implement instructions.
There was a slave system in the old days, and the text mentions the harmony of the master-slave relationship.
The servants were told to serve their masters as to Christ. This means that servants should not regard their master as a disgraceful being, but think of him as Jesus.
Then, masters, what would Jesus do to his servants if he were in my position? This is what you should think and do to your servant.
It is also attached to the saying that if you do that, you will receive from your heavenly Father according to what you have done.
A servant or a master must act according to the standard of Jesus.
A servant should treat his master as he would to Jesus. A master should treat his servants as Jesus did.
If so, how good would the hierarchical relationship be?
marital relationship. parent-child relationship. In the master-slave relationship, we give glory to the Lord by serving and obeying one another according to the Lord's teachings and culture, following His commands, by reverence for Christ. do
