Family restoration (Ephesians 5:22-33)
Waiting for your word. May the Holy Spirit work to open our hearts and ears. May the blessing of the Word arise so that we may appear as God's people in the world.
As children grow, their bodies grow and their hearts and minds mature, so believers also need growth and maturity. The maturation of faith is becoming like God's image, inner change comes, glorifies God, and the blessing of salvation appears in life. Abnormality is changed to normal, treated and recovered. In the field of life, in the church, and in the family, the restoration of life should be revealed.
The power to achieve true recovery and maturity is the filling of the Holy Spirit.
(Ephesians 5:18) “But be filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your hearts, giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit yourselves to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
God chose us before the ages and sent Jesus Christ to make us His children. Salvation is by the grace of God, and He wants us to reveal this to generations. Salvation is the total gift of God.
Many couples are in conflict. Many homes are also being destroyed. Many people live in ignorance of authority, institutions and fences. An increasing number of families are divorced amidst conflict and quarrel. The destruction of these homes is occurring due to various apparent causes. Personality differences, financial problems, children's education, etc. However, there is a problem that has not been revealed in practice. It is a spiritual problem you have. There are mental and psychological problems derived from spiritual problems. Because of this spiritual problem, our homes are being destroyed. How about a Christian home? There is often no difference from ordinary unbelievers families. However, studies have shown that such cases are rare in evangelical churches.
The couple are the two pillars of the family. The family was first created by God in Genesis 2 and the church was established. The family was built by God as a helper.
God created families to help each other, to help each other, and to live beautifully. When you start a family, you start to help and live like this. But the reality is that this is not the case. Why not?
We need to find the answer to this. Before believing in Jesus, you were the master of your life. There are outward people who do not live according to the Spirit, but rather live according to the flesh. That's why couples love and cannot be submissive. My old self and the way I have lived is not right. That is why we need a new spirit and values. It is only properly formed through Christ. There is room for healing through the heart of Christ. My old self must be changed into a new one in Jesus Christ.
There is no change unless I change, that is, unless Christ is Lord in my person. Becoming filled with the Holy Spirit. The filling of the Holy Spirit means that Jesus Christ becomes the master of my heart and fills my personality with the Holy Spirit. This is possible. Because God does it.
When Jesus Christ becomes the master of my life, problems are solved and the fruits of the Holy Spirit (love, gentleness, mercy, joy, loyalty...) are produced.
Christ loved and obeyed us even to the point of death. We too need to be submissive like Christ. The person of Christ is the work of salvation. (1 John 3) - God loved His only begotten Son even to death. It is to share the love of God received through Christ at home. When you know the reasons for submission and love, you will have true love. Loving your spouse is ultimately loving yourself.
There are times when obedience is not enough.
(Ephesians 6:10) He commands us to put on the full armor of God and fight spiritually. It becomes when you gain spiritual strength We have to fight and defeat the evil devil who makes us fail.
"Be ye strengthened in the Lord and in the power of his might... Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this darkness, and against the spirits of evil in heaven. ."
You must receive spiritual strength by constantly praying in the Holy Spirit. Even if we have problems, if we have the spiritual strength given by the Holy Spirit, our lives will have no problems. Rather, you will find God's plan in the matter.
Prayer> God, thank you for giving us a family. Help us to become a family that obeys the word of God.
