Title Everyday with Commas /Mark 6:30-31
There is a saying that everyone uses these days, “busy”. Elementary and junior high school students are also busy. Parents are busy with work. Besides work, I am very busy with various events.
I saw in the newspaper yesterday that in Atalia, a man who was too busy preparing for his daughter's wedding won a lottery lottery worth 6.6 million euros (about 86 billion in our money), but he was so busy that he forgot and applied for a payout to the lottery company. He said he missed that opportunity. This person later found out about this and fainted from sudden shock and was taken to the hospital, where he only woke up in two hours. It's really absurd. The problem was that I could not take care of other important things due to my busy life.
Advanced European societies want to enjoy work and rest in a half-balanced way. In other words, I do not want to live a busy life unconditionally. In Korea, working hours are getting shorter and shorter. That's why I seem to be realizing that work is important now, but rest is also important.
Our daily life is meaningless if we only run forward without rest. We need a comma. A meaningful rest will lead you to a better, happier future.
Jesus was always busy, I saw today that he was working with his disciples, so he didn't even have time to eat. What did Jesus say at this time?
In today's Word, you all come to a secluded place and rest for a while. It was Jesus who was busy working without even having time to eat. So are the disciples. How physically tired would you be to have worked so hard that you didn't even have time to eat?
There are several places in the Bible where it is said that Jesus rested. And to those who are weary and burdened with heavy burdens, the Lord has given them rest and rest.
Let's look at Matthew 11:28-29. “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Jesus knows our toil and burden. Our toil and burden take away our peace of mind and prevent us from enjoying rest. To come to Jesus is to bring your hard work and burden and pray. It is to leave it to the Lord.
Luke 21:37. “Jesus taught by day in the temple, and by night he went out and rested on a mountain called the Olive Garden.” Luke 21:38 says, “All the people went to the temple early in the morning to hear him.”
Jesus himself rested after work. Jesus' rest can be said to be another way to prepare the morning. But we must remember that we did not work for the sake of work. In Luke 5:16, the purpose of Jesus' retreat to a lonely place is revealed. “Jesus withdrew and prayed in a lonely place.”
Yes, he went to a secluded place to pray. We must not forget that the Almighty Lord, who heals and raises the sick, also sought and prayed in this way. He rested for a new job.
How are you? How do you usually spend your rest after working hard?
According to the social index of Koreans published by Statistics Korea in 2001,
It is said that Koreans spend their leisure time like this.
As for leisure activities, on average per day for adult males, 40 minutes for dating, 37 minutes for recreation, 51 minutes for leisure activities, 14 minutes for reading newspapers and magazines, 14 minutes for listening to radio, 2 hours and 13 minutes for watching TV, and 2 hours and 13 minutes for new media broadcasting. 8 minutes, 1 minute for PC communication, and 8 minutes for internet. Although socializing and leisure activities occupy a considerable proportion, it can be seen that watching TV takes an overwhelming proportion. The rest of Koreans mainly consists of watching TV. This means that even the moments of rest are being occupied by TV, and it shows our reality that the culture of rest is really poor.
Now we need real soul rest. I wonder if many people are so busy these days because they don't have enough rest.
And remember, we don't rest and rest anywhere. We must carefully engrave the meaning of a secluded place. Where is the secluded place today? It is a place where you can meet the Lord in silence.
So, what does resting or resting mean?
First of all, it's literally about stopping.
What if a moving car just runs and doesn't stop? It just wanders without a direction and will never reach the target location. A stop is required. To stop means to know exactly when to stop doing your daily work, and to stop.
Another train accident in Daegu recently occurred because the basic virtues of trains and railways were ignored, and it was said that it was an absurd accident. There are signs like this at train stations and crossings.
stop, look, listen. once you stop look around and listen. Accidents happen when these basics are ignored, and these three things are essential in our path of life.
You need to know when to stop and take a week off. We must come before God to worship, pray, and eat the food of our souls. So there are no accidents.
Last July, a heat wave swept the world, especially Europe. In France, it is said that about 10,000 people have died. However, in this situation, it is said that the “Tour de France”, a race of perseverance that crossed the Florence Samac by bicycle, was held. The finale ended at the Champs Elysees in France. Armstrong of the United States, who has won five consecutive titles in this tournament, drew a lot of attention. But the real champion is Germany's Jan Julich.
Julich is said to have been the second player in his later years, giving up the first place to Armstrong since 1999. However, in the race on July 22 this time, Armstrong and Julich had a fierce battle for the lead with a distance of about 15 seconds. However, on the way, he got caught in the bag of a boy who was cheering for Armstrong, and Armstrong fell along with his bicycle. Julich had a golden opportunity. It's a chance to turn around, but Julich doesn't, he sets the cycle up and calmly pauses until Armstrong gets up. It was only when Armstrong got up and started running that he started running again. No one laughed at his stopping and waiting as stupid. His great pause is extolling even the 'holy concession'.
God made us work for six days, and one day as a Sabbath to stop our worldly work, and the earth rested every seven years with one year as a Sabbath.
Aren't we so busy that we don't give in, and we often feel like sprinting bikers? Aren't there people who get angry a lot, rush to fill their stomachs, and gossip nonstop? Let's stop. Let's go into a quiet contemplation, stop what we're doing, stopping doesn't mean we're done and we're done. I'm not saying it's over. It's not ending. It is an operational pause for advancement. Holy blessings will come.
Next, to rest means to look back.
A rest area is a place you always stop by when using the highway. I have to rest about 3 times to go back to my hometown. If I don't take a break and run as I am, I don't know if I'll be able to go in 6 hours. However, if you go like that, you will get sick or get sick, so it will have a big hindrance to your next climb. So it's easy to go halfway. During this time, I take a break to check the car, and think about how far I have come and whether I am on the right track. Not only that, I often think about what I must do when I get home this time.
Our daily life also needs to be self-examined every day, and we need to focus spiritually to see if there is anything wrong with it. Good music Fun music always has commas and retrace marks. The music that just flows without a break makes you feel the true joy of music.
We should have a good habit of looking back on ourselves. It is self-reflection. Only those who take care of themselves can plan a better life. Even if something has failed, it will not work if you try something new unconditionally. You should look into the causes of failure and have self-reflection. Doing so opens up new senses and perspectives. There is always a time-out in the middle of an athletic event. At this point, check the situation in the first half. No, this time is really important to prepare for the next one. New operations may be delivered.
We believers should reflect on ourselves once a day. You must put down your greed and put down your heavy burdens. If you remember something you did wrong, you need to repent and make a commitment not to repeat the mistake.
Lastly, it means to fill up with new strength through rest.
Jesus wanted to lead the tired disciples and recharge them spiritually. Without spiritual recharging, the Christian life is impossible. The Lord often withdrew to a secluded place to pray. And you worked. Even for the disciples, Jesus took them to a secluded place to meet God for wisdom and power.
I believe this is a prayer life. Or cutie. It is a life of godliness. Physical exercise is profitable for a little while, but godliness is beneficial for all things, so there is a promise in this life and in the life to come (1 Timothy 5:8). It is beneficial for spiritual work. In order for us to acquire new powers, we must have materials that generate them. Rice is the ingredient that gives new strength to those who are hungry and exhausted. When the car runs out of fuel, the engine turns off. Just as a car must provide enough fuel to function properly, so the saints must always be filled with the Holy Spirit and filled with prayer.
Where do you get your new strength? I hope you will receive it through meeting with the Lord in the Lord. Prayer changes things. Prayer works miracles. We hope that our church members will do their best in prayer. You should not be satisfied with worship. You have to pray to communicate with God and with the saints. It also works with the servant of the Lord. How much to pray? How many missions do we have? The most important thing to do in order to fulfill that mission is to fill up with new strength through prayer.
finish the speech. Dear all!
Being busy is not a bad thing. But you have to have a daily routine with commas. In particular, the body must rest, but the soul must find rest. A desolated heart also arises from tiredness that never rests. Remember, how do we have true rest? Just because you sleep at home doesn't mean you can't rest. Watching TV and spending time is not rest. Rest is a new creative activity. Therefore, we must do good works that are pleasing to the body and soul. Joyful and good work is to dispel fatigue and provide new strength. For Christians, meeting with God is rest. Sabbath is to come to church diligently to worship. Praying for the soul is rest. Volunteering for neighbors is rest. Because this kind of life brings true joy and peace. saints
You need to balance work and rest.
