Title: Experience the Power of the Word

Dear saints, the Bible has such power. It has the power to change people and save people.

“For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow” (Hebrews 4:12).

The word of God is alive. It's not just documentation. not letters. Being alive changes us.

In John 1:14 it is written, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

How will you experience the living God? It allows us to experience the living God when we hear the word of the Lord and read the word of the Lord.

But do we enjoy the word of God? Do you hear the voice of the Lord through the Word every day? In 2010, I hope that you will become a member who enjoys reading and meditating on the Word of God. That is the shortcut that we can become like the Lord.

So, what are the benefits of reading God's Word?

First, the Word draws us closer to Jesus.

(Verse 15: The scriptures are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.)

Humans have a habit of tree frogs. I keep trying to get away from God. If I do not intentionally go to the side of the Lord, I naturally become distant. At such times, there is a tool that holds us and makes us stay with the Lord. That's the Bible. The Word makes us “in Jesus.” In addition, it makes the ‘hope of salvation’ not to be lost.

Second, the Word tells us how to live on this earth.

(Verse 16: All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.)

Ladies and gentlemen, we live in the midst of a chaos of values. We live in a world where appearanceism, materialism, and expediency are rampant and accepted. In this turbulent world, what should we live by? We must live according to the Word of God. These words have not changed over the ages. Those who lived according to the Word of God at any age lived well. I have lived a meaningful and valuable life. However, if we do not meditate on the Word, our thoughts are immediately shaken. We live our lives as the life TV tells us, and the life the drama tells us. When we live by holding on to the Word, we can be victorious when we move forward by refining ourselves through the Word.

Third, the Word gives us strength.

The Word comforts us when we face hardships and difficulties.

So the psalmist says in Psalm 119:50:

These are my comfort in my affliction, for your word has made me alive.

Your word saves me from my afflictions.

Beloved, the word of the Lord gives me strength. comforts me It captures the desire to give up and makes you live again. If the product we normally use breaks down, we should quickly look for the instruction manual that was given to us when we purchased it. And you have to see how to do it. The same is true. Who made us? God made it. The Bible is our guide to life. When life breaks down and life doesn't go well, when problems arise, we should look at our instruction manual, the Bible. From there you will start to see the road.

Dear saints,

Starting today, I am going to preach the secret of the members of Green Garden Church to live a ‘life that resembles Jesus’ for several weeks. First, the secret is to hold onto the ‘Word’.

Even if we pray for two hours every day, if we do not read the Word, we easily fall or fall into mysticism. The heart should be hot, but the head should be cold.

The knowledge of God must be accumulated within us. To do that, we must meditate on God's Word every day by making it a habit.

I suggest two things.

First, cutie becomes a saint. Let's meditate on the Word as we give our morning to the Lord.

Second, set aside time to read the Word and read through it. Please read the Bible reading table distributed today, checking it from today. We ask that all members of the church read the Bible through at least once this year. Then, your faith will grow and you will have a deep personal encounter with God.

The Word of God is still alive and working in our lives. I pray that you will gain strength through the word and become a blessed saint who opens the way of life.
