Title Fear of the Future

Hymn: 301 (460) 'What I've Been Through'
Meditation: Everyone has worries and anxiety about the future when they encounter a new environment. So, how can believers overcome their fear of the future?
Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed
Text: “Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious about tomorrow, and one day of suffering is sufficient for that day” (Matthew 6:25-34).
First, remember that God has helped me in the past. When the people of Israel were trembling in fear and trembling in front of Canaan, which they had never been to, Moses said to them: “As you suffered in the wilderness, just as a man embraces his son, so the LORD your God took you up to this place in the way you have walked” (Deuteronomy 1:31). He directed the way by fire by night and clouds by day. In this way, we have God's care in our lives. I hope that God will be with you tomorrow as well.
Second, overcome your fears of the future with the word of the Lord. Jesus said, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious about tomorrow, and one day of suffering is enough for that day." This verse is telling us not to worry about tomorrow, which has not yet come. The Lord said to see the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. You said that Heavenly Father nurtures you and makes you grow. So don't worry about tomorrow.
Third, believe that God has provided everything I need tomorrow. Jesus said, "Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things." God is the God of Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14). He is the God who prepares for us. We are preparing not only food, clothing and shelter, but also everything you are worried about and worrying about right now.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for leading us this far. Please help me overcome the fear of the future with the words you gave me. We believe that God will be with us in the past and present and guide the future. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
