Sermons for Preaching

Title Firmly until the end

Contents

Hymn: 448 (New Hymn 447) To the end of the world

Meditation: The beginning is important, but the work to the end is even more important.

Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed

Text: “… If we hold fast to the end what is certain from the beginning, we will become partakers of Christ” (Hebrews 3:12-14).

Perseverance to the end requires anything (athletes, work, marriage, study, etc.). The life of faith is even more so. Had Judas Iscariot continued to be faithful as he was when he first became a disciple, and if he had been humble and faithful to the end as when King Saul became king, his life would not have been a miserable life.

There is a crisis in the life of faith.

As you go through life, there are obstacles. There are times to change, and this is a crisis. Because if you make a mistake, your faith will change too. This period must be sublimated into a creative period.

Everything in this world changes. However, only the life of faith must be strong until the end. Because Jesus is eternal and immutable. His words (Luke 21:35), love (John 13:35), grace and power do not change forever.

The life of faith must be firmly established until the end. If we do not get over the last hurdle, our hard work, faith, and service will disappear in vain. You have to be strong to the end to receive a reward. Only those who endure to the end can obtain the heavenly inheritance and reward and share in the glory of the Lord.

We must keep our faith life to the end. The life of faith is not a straight line. It is to climb mountains. You must have faith in the 7th and 8th period. If you want to keep your faith to the end, you must search the Bible (Acts 17:11). We must pray day and night (Luke 8:6-7). You must attend well (Hebrews 10:25).

We must exhort one another daily through the Word and the Holy Spirit. You must be with Christ. We must live together with the Lord in our consciousness as well as in our unconscious. We must walk with the Lord at all times and in all places. Only then can we be together in the eternal world. In the end, those who endure to the end when the Lord returns will be rewarded. Let us all become crown-bearing saints.

Prayer: God is Alpha and Omega. It is God who started it, so I pray that you will stand firm before the Lord by living your faith steadfastly until the end. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
