(1 Chronicles 28:9-10) “My son Solomon, (1) know (righteously) the God of your father, (3) serve him with a complete heart and with a glad will (2) serve him. (4) The LORD examines all hearts. He knows every thought (every thought and intention). (5) If you seek him, you will find him; if you forsake him, he will forsake you forever. (8) Be diligent in doing it.”
1. It is a time when new changes in the Protestant church are urged.
1) Reliability of Protestants 17.9% is a serious problem for the church. : our appearance
- Most Christians are not trusted by unbelievers.
* This is the shame and seriousness of Christians.
* This means that all Christians did not practice the word of God, but rather rebelled against it.
* This is to make God angry.
* God commanded unbelievers to glorify God by the way Christians live.
(Matthew 5:16) “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
* Christians are the light of the world that brightens the world. : On the contrary, it is becoming dark.
* The saints refer to the “holy crowd”. : Are you a saint?
* Saints are those who have a holy God in themselves and live by his holiness.
* Christians in this age do not know God or have God as their master.
* God has commanded us not to take our name in vain.
(Exodus 20:7) “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”
* The church of this age is making the name of God in vain.
- Guys, now we have to go back to the basics of the Bible and start anew.
* Let's make a small church that God is truly pleased with.
* Let's confirm that it is not because of the bread that we are fucked, but because of the fear of the Lord.
* Fuck glamor, fuck socializing, let's be pure faith, not for the sake of business.
* Let's make a church that is recognized as a light in the church society that is recognized by God.
2. For a new beginning, David first told Solomon himself the true form of faith.
1) It was not politically stable at that time.
- There were older brothers above Solomon, and there was a force that supported him.
* In order for Solomon to maintain a stable throne, he had to be firm in the God who had chosen him.
* It was his own experience, and it was also what he realized through the past time.
* The sermons delivered over the preceding seven weeks were the foundation of all the foundations.
* Now, the final advice is to do all of these things.
3. Do hard work
1) The word “work hard” has a stronger meaning.
- qz"j; (hazark): has the meaning of clinging to, strengthening, or making solid.
* It is a urge to firmly do everything in the previous seven weeks.
* It is a will to give priority to all things and to do all that is possible.
2) We all need to keep a few things in mind to do our best.
- We must go before God with sincerity in everything we do.
* Worship, hymn, prayer, good deeds, devotion, service, or sincerity.
* To be seen by people becomes a whitewashed tomb like a Pharisee.
* We must do everything in the way of obedience as we do before God.
(1 Peter 4:10-11) “As each one has received a gift, serve one another as good stewards of the various graces of God. do this so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory and power forever and ever, Amen.”
* Acting through God-given grace is the duty of stewardship, not pride.
- You must make yourself worthy to present yourself before God.
(Ephesians 5:17-19) “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Sing and sing praises to the Lord with your heart.”
* Discern and understand the will of God before your actions. : Don't do what you think.
* Do not forget that there is the law of sin in man and the weak habits of the flesh.
* Do not get drunk on the world, but for the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
* The role of the Holy Spirit is to make us know and remind us of the Word of God so that we can obey it.
* The filling of the Holy Spirit refers to the passion to obey the Word of God.
* Praise God with the fellowship of the saints with your sincerity.
- Lastly, do God's work and all the work of the church with affection.
* Affection leads to accepting and embracing all that is lacking.
* Although it is a small church, if you have affection, you will find and do what you have to do.
* Do not divide in the slightest or try to divide yourself, but strive to be united in unity.
(Proverbs 18:1) “He who separates himself from the crowd follows his own desires, and rejects all true wisdom.”
(Ephesians 4:2-3) “With all humility and gentleness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love, striving to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
◈ In this way, we can build a true church that is truly pleasing to God.
