Title Galatians 4
Content Galatians 4
Like the previous chapter, Chapter 3, this chapter is divided into three paragraphs. the first paragraph
In the light of salvation history, man under the law and man in Christ
Contrast the status of (vv. 1-11). The second paragraph is the Apostle Paul and Galatians
Describes relationships with people (vv. 12-20). And the last paragraph is the Old Testament
It explains what a Christian's status is on the basis of the case (verses 21-31).
The 'elementary science' in verse 3 is the world's science,
Evil spirits that do not mean natural science, general morals and ethics,
It means demons. In fact, we thought only of the expression 'elementary education'.
If so, the meaning would be 'basic or rudimentary knowledge or study'.
Furthermore, in verse 3, 'elementary learning' is referred to as 'elementary learning of this world'.
By doing so, our thoughts appear to be right. However, 'primary school
The word 'door' (Stoikeia, ) means 'basic elements'.

Natural or celestial components were considered a kind of god.

It is not the nature itself that is making it work, but God is
Moreover, it is clear that he is a spiritual being with some other powerful power.
All. They are none other than evil spirits, demons, who seek to lead man to destruction.
that is. That this understanding is contextually correct can be seen in verse 3 and verse 8.
Comparing it with the Word, it becomes clear. In verse 3, 'the elementary studies of this world'
Christians who were enslaved below' (here, "we") are, in verse 9, 'in essence
Christians who were enslaved to those who were not God (the true God) (here, “you
Hee"), so these verses have the same meaning.
(see also verse 9).
The time that God has planned in the salvation work unfolding has come.
There are two things you have done. One sees his only begotten Son
The other is that the Holy Spirit was sent (verse 6). the time is up
God sent his son to this earth, so that he
To bring salvation to his people, who were sinners by suffering the death of the Lord.
(Galatians 1:4, 3:13, 4:5). In verse 5, “redemption” for those who were under the law.
Salvation is expressed in two aspects: 'God made him' and 'made him a son'.
I did.
The Galatians are already seriously waking up from the gospel of God's grace.
I was there. History of signs of a return to the so-called 'elementary science of the world'
was showing up. They follow the devil's scheme to undermine the gospel.
The deception of the Jews who teach that 'one can be saved by keeping the law'
They were getting caught up in numbers and were turning into legal formalists (10
section).
The Apostle Paul described his relationship with the Galatians as a mother and child.
It is compared to the relationship between the two, which is well shown in verse 19. this letter
The exhortation to the Galatians in the whole begins in verse 12.
I did. From a human point of view, the Apostle Paul was blessed in Galatia.
His appearance at the time of conveying the notes was not to be liked, but rather to be antagonized.
It was. Nevertheless, the Galatians of the present day did not look at him at that time.
Without judging, I listened to the gospel he preached and accepted him as precious.
(verse 14).
Contrary to the Apostle Paul, the so-called Judaists who preach false teachings
Their goal is to keep the Galatians away from Christ.
It was a very wicked thing to make their own followers (v. 17).
The evil phenomenon continues as long as the church exists. today too
The same is true. The so-called 'authoritarian' elements that exist in the church today are
It's just part of that naughty phenomenon. About the pastor's fault
Without saying the right word, he said, "You are doing well.
The pastor is the Lord's servant, so don't say this or that. Only the Lord
You will judge the pastor's fault."
W Have a heart of true love and build up the Lord’s Church even stronger
The church members who started to speak with a careful mind
I'm dying of exhaustion. So no one has said anything about the pastor since then.
I don't want to. Just reigning like a king in that church, and
Like the supreme commander of the army, there will be only pastors who always give orders.

will leave For this reason, the church is gradually moving away from Christ and naturally
It solidifies its character as a kind of humanistic gathering.
But, according to the Bible, what is the status of a pastor? he is a priest
Not a king or commander to rule over the fields. Who governs our congregations
is only our eternal King, Jesus Christ. So the pastor
is not Not even a prophet. He, like the members of the church, was the king
A people ruled by Christ, moving under the guidance of Him as the Shepherd
is an equal relationship, not an upper-lower relationship. Paul himself was an apostle
Despite the fact that Galatians are called "brothers" (Galatians 4:12,
28, 31, 6:1, 18). I also call them "my children" (Gal.
4:19). As such, the Apostle Paul said that there was no hierarchical hierarchy among the members.

because it is not Therefore, the pastor's teachings or demands are not
Only to the extent consistent with the dragon is the authority of the gospel, the direct command of Christ the King.
It is to have authority as a spirit.
However, in reality, there can be no authority contrary to the gospel by the pastors.
It is being exercised a lot without it. This is the sad reality of our churches today.
that is. One of the decisive factors that persists this reality is
It is a pastor's ritual. Pastors do not know what to do for the members of the 'Lord's people'
So, as the Lord did, we must have a heart to serve and sacrifice.
I'm not recommending people who seem to be passionate about their work to the seminary.
You'll have to pick and choose. so that after he has received his theological lessons properly,
Only then will you be able to become a pastor with the right consciousness.]
The difference between the false teachers who perverted the gospel and the apostle Paul is Galatia
It is very clear in his attitude towards the church members. false teachers
