Title Galatians 06:7-10 The Christian Truth
Content Title: The Christian Truth
Text: Galatians 6:7-10
I. Beginnings
All religions have representative terms that describe the characteristics of that religion. In Buddhism, there is 'Nam-Amitabha', and in our Christianity there is Amen. The word Amen in Hebrew is 'Aman', which means truth. In this way, our Christianity emphasizes the truth. Because God is truthful, His people who serve God must be truthful. Amen! Because our Lord is sincere, we believe that believers who follow Him must be sincere! Amen! So, no matter how well the Pharisees pretend to believe in God, they can never become God's children because they are different from the outside and not sincere. But even if you are a robber or a whore, I believe that if you repent honestly and sincerely, you will be forgiven and sealed as a child of God!
II. Main subject
When God created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, He created them from light. It is recorded in Genesis 1:3, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. Before this light, the world was chaos and chaos. But with this light, chaos and disorder disappeared. The truth is light. The ability to defeat chaos and disorder. Of course, this light was not the true light either. True light comes only from God. That true light has come into the world. And he shone that light into us. Before that true light came, our hearts were chaos and empty. He was completely possessed by the power of darkness. However, as the true light entered our hearts, the power of darkness was cast out. Hallelujah! So you and I, we became children of light. Shouldn't children of light live like children of light?
Children of Darkness love dark places. Because in the dark you can hide your deeds. It's okay if you don't wear makeup. It's okay if your hair is messy. It is okay to go in the wind of pajamas. It's dark, so you can't see me. What if you're doing anything? But when children of light live in light. Because everything is revealed, you must always be sober and careful. The children of light are neat even at night. In the dark night we cannot see, but God sees. There is no night for God. There is no darkness in God. Therefore, even at night, we, believers, should be neat as daytime. Only then can we live like children of light. The fruit of light comes from children of light. The Bible tells us to 'walk as children of light' in Ephesians 5:8, and then in verse 9, 'The fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth'. That's right. Children of light must be truthful. For the believers who follow Jesus, the truth is life.
You may be familiar with King Solomon's famous judgment. When they tried to split the baby in two, truth and lies were revealed. In the case of the Jews, when it was not clear who owned it, it was divided equally in two. But if you split life around you, you die. Truth is love and lies are death. Truth is a movement that saves lives, and lies are a movement that kills. The truth is to give up mine to save it. When I give up mine, living things live. But if I claim mine, life dies. The real mother gave up being 'my child' in order to save the child. I gave up 'it's mine' and tried to save the lives of my children. But the fake mother said it was okay for the young life to die, so let's split it in two. Hypocrisy and lies are so terrifying.
If you are sincere, God will surely bless you. Even if it seems like you are losing right now, I believe that God will surely compensate you and give you greater blessings!
1. Therefore, we believers should try to be truthful.
2. To do that, you must first deceive yourself.
III. closing words
Those who believe in Jesus must not deceive others. It's a very natural thing to say. The word not to deceive yourself presupposes not to deceive others. How can a person who claims to believe in Jesus, who is the truth, try to deceive others? Still, we live by deceiving others too much in our lives. Of course, will you intentionally deceive others? Even if it is not intentional, you should try hard not to be the result of deceiving others. The sin of deceiving others will always come back to you. This is the phrase 'as you sow, you reap' in today's text. If you deceive others, you will be deceived too. Jacob, who deceived his brother Esau, was deeply deceived by his maternal uncle Laban. I suffered the bitterness of being deceived ten times. Her mother, Rebekah, who taught Jacob lies, paid the price for her sin and passed away without seeing Jacob, whom she loved so much.
Dear brothers and sisters, Heaven is a country where we believe in each other. I pray that this country will soon turn into the kingdom of God. I want this country to become a country where we can trust each other soon. We want to become a credit society. If we, believers, me and you, sincerely try to live sincerely, the earth will become true. I believe you will be able to live. If our members are sincere, good deeds will come from our members. Sowing the truth brings forth the fruit of good deeds, and sowing a lie brings forth the fruit of evil deeds. Of course, if you try to live truthfully in a world where lies are ruled by lies, you will suffer loss and suffering. You have to be truthful though. Only then will the kingdom of God be established in this world. Because only then can you receive the crown of righteousness. Everyone, let's be true. Let's live truthfully! Then I believe that our Lord will praise you for doing well. 'Good and faithful servant! Participate in the joy of your master!' I believe you are invited to the feast in heaven!
