Title Give People Joy (Joy)
Contents
I give this name to you, that my joy may be in you and your joy may be full (John 15:11).
This activity is good enough to treat headaches, lower high blood pressure and fight infectious diseases, and in one stroke your heart rate doubles from 60 to 120, and blood pressure rises to normal 120 to 200. have. When this activity ceases, your heart rate and blood pressure return to normal, which is a sign of stress relief. What is this? The answer is 'laugh'.
Solomon once said, “A joy in the heart is good medicine” (Proverbs 17:22). Many people wish to be happy, but more than that, we should wish to be happy.
Joy and happiness seem similar, but they are different. We feel happy when things go our way, and we feel unhappy when things don't go our way. Happiness is such a temporary and fickle thing.
But joy is internal, and it is not governed by external circumstances, but by internal character. Happiness depends on opportunity, joy depends on choice. So the Apostle Paul could say, “Rejoice always.” Although his body was beaten, redeemed, and imprisoned in a deep dungeon while preaching the gospel, he chose to rejoice and was able to enjoy it.
C.S. Lewis said, “Joy is a serious work in heaven.” In the Bible, the words 'joy', 'joy', and 'rejoice' appear more than 450 times. When God tells us to be humble, we often go after happiness and lose the joy we have to choose from.
Trying to find joy in material things is like drinking salt water. Just as the more you drink salt water, the more thirsty you get, the more you get material things, the more you become greedy for them.
A man was sitting in a restaurant with an unhappy expression on his face. When the waiter asked what was going on, he replied. When my father passed away two months ago, he left me a legacy of $185,000, and last month, when my uncle passed away, he left me $100,000 worth of stock, because no one left me a penny this month.
Joy is not like that. Joy gives us the strength to live, to walk in the light in heavy rain, and to endure the worst. It is far better to find one pleasant thing out of all the painful things than to find one painful thing out of all the pleasant things. People spend most of their waking hours looking for something to fill the void in their hearts, and that is joy.
To make life bearable and enjoyable, you need to go on a journey of joy.
1) Be a grateful person.
Complaining and dissatisfaction keep you from seeing the positive side of life and drains energy from your mind's battery. However, a person who finds and appreciates something to be grateful for, even if it is small, connects hard daily life with joy.
A person who used to be blind and then was able to see through surgery is amazed and amazed by everything. However, those who have seen everything from birth take for granted what is given in their life and do not appreciate it. Not because I have nothing to be thankful for, but because I don't understand. You have to be a grateful person.
2) Be content with what you have.
“Greed” and “jealousy” take away joy from you. A successful businessman looked pathetic at the fisherman sitting idle by the side of the boat after finishing his early work and asked him why he didn't catch more fish.
The rich man said that he could enjoy life by catching more fish, buying nets, buying bigger boats, and earning more money, but the fisherman said that I am enjoying that life right now. The present me is enough to rejoice.
3) Invest in others.
The happiest people are those who look around and wait for others to make them happy, and the happiest are those who invest their time and energy in others.
4) Build a personal relationship with God.
“In your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are joys everlasting.” (Psalm 16:11)
Application: Brighten up the day of others with your words, actions and expressions
