◎ Introduction
: Abraham received prayers answered, Lot was saved, and Sodom was destroyed.
This is the image of the fallen faith and the fallen person.
※ The fall of Lot is a severe warning message about the coming judgment on all fallen believers and wicked people on this earth.

1. Lot's warning about judgment. (23-26)
※ Lot's warning about judgment is a lesson for everyone
One). The compromised believer loses everything. (23)
※ Lot trusted the world, but lost his home and possessions, and lost all his family except for his two daughters.
2). Those who do not believe will be judged and destroyed with fire and brimstone. (24-25)
① Actually, all the cities in the area (Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim.) were destroyed.
* Because of Lot, only Zoar was excluded from judgment. (De 29:23; compare Ho 11:8)
② The Lord Himself sent fire and brimstone (supernatural) judgment on the cities. (24)
※ “He overturned it and destroyed it” The people were consistent with God as ① resistance, cursing, treason, ② illegality, and ③ immorality.
Therefore, God overturned them and judged them.
※ The day of judgment on this world is getting closer. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8, 2 Peter 2:4-9, 3:3-4, 10, Jude 14,15)
3). Lot's wife loved this world and was judged as a result.
※ Lot's wife loved Sodom, and she hesitated because she did not want to leave the city because she had regrets about the comfortable life she had enjoyed there.
※ Lot's wife fell behind because she did not want to give up ① bright lights and social life ② house and possessions ③ friends and neighbors, then she looked back and immediately became a pillar of salt.
2. Lot's rescue. (27-29)
※ Lot and his two daughters were saved in response to Abraham's prayer.
One). Prayer warriors are deeply concerned with the situation (27)
※ When Abraham got up early and looked at what had happened, there was a lot of smoke rising from Sodom and Sodom.
Gomorrah and all the people saw that it was thick like smoke from a pothole.
2). God remembers
※ Lot was not saved by his own righteousness, but he answered Abraham's prayer.
* Because his uncle Abraham prayed for him, and God heard and answered this prayer (29)
(James 5:16)
※ Lot did not follow God
② I couldn't even live the life of a witness for God.
③ Lived for the sake of this world (bright lights, pleasures, money, wealth, wealth, status, honor, possessions)
④ Carnal, worldly, and led an ungodly life.
3. Lot's tragic end. (30-38)
※ Due to the fall of Lot, it was entrusted with a tragic end.
One). I was afraid. (30)
※ Zoar was a prosperous city along with the surrounding towns,
Now the surrounding area has been destroyed and it is no longer a place to live.
※ God planned to judge Zoar as well. Remembering this, Lot, fearing God's judgment against Zoar, fled from the city to the mountains and lived in a cave.
2). He lost everything and lived in a cave. (30)
※ Whether prospering or not, the powerful man in the city lost everything including his pride and the respect of others. he was lowered
Abandoned, thoroughly humiliated, humiliated, and unhappy, he lived a life of chaos and chaos and guilt-ridden.
3). had a bad influence on their children. (31-36)
※ It is the most tragic result of a fallen life, and the fallen life had a terrible impact on the children.

* After getting his father drunk, he tried to have sex with him and have children (33).

※ Lot brought wine from Zoar.
* Lot's fall was really serious. The environment that my daughter could experience was the hedonistic and moral of the upper class at the time.
It was a negative, loose atmosphere (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4).
4). Descendants have problems. (37-38)
※ Those born to two daughters ① The eldest daughter gave birth to Moab and is the ancestor of the later Moabites.
② The younger daughter gave birth to Beth-ammi and later became the ancestor of the Ammonites.
* This nation later became painful enemies to the nation of Israel, God's people, and they will oppose it.
They later became intermingled with the Arab peoples. (Ex 34:7; Jer 32:18)
