Title [Genesis 21:1-7] Birth of Isaac

God always fulfills all His promises. God strengthened their faith by repeatedly confirming Abraham and his wife whenever they wavered, and even supernaturally prevented them from losing their virginity. God finally gave Abraham the greatest gift of blessing and joy, Isaac, to be born. Now, let me introduce you to Isaac's birth and the various conflicts that followed so that we can receive grace.

1. The birth of Isaac is the fulfillment of the Word (promise).

2. Isaac's birth led to family stripe.

3. God had mercy on Hagar and Ishmael and showed them grace.

In Psalm 27:10 David sang, “My parents have forsaken me, but the LORD will receive me.” Hagar's hat ended up like that. Abraham got up early in the morning, took bread and a skin bag of water, put it on Hagar's shoulder, and made him go with his son Ishmael. Their hats did not go far and they ate all the bread and water. Hagar cried and cried, saying that she would not be able to bear the death of her son. Ishmael also cried out. God heard their cry. And while showing the vision for the future (making a great nation), he opened Hagar's eyes so that she could find a spring of water. They escaped their hunger and grew to maturity while God was with them.

① God hears the cry of tears. Let's not be discouraged or discouraged because there is no hope. I hope you will come to God and cry out at your own risk like Hagar or Ishmael. You will surely answer.

② God opens his eyes to find solutions. God's blessings do not fall from heaven, but we find them. Just follow God's wisdom and guidance.

③God is with the lowly. My parents abandoned me, but God was with Ishmael. If God is with us, we can live safely and enjoy our needs even in the wilderness. I hope that we can all live by faith, taking the discord of Abraham's family as a lesson.
