Title Genesis 2:18~25 Creation of the family

Contents

Genesis 2:18-25 Allowing the family Topic: 1. The family. 2009. 1. 11.

Introduction

The text contains experiences of need and desire, protection and love, promise and supply, expectation and excitement, warmth and tenderness.

The content of this text is an excellent study of the first woman - Adam's companion - Eve.

1. Reason for creating woman (18)

Why does the Bible describe the creation of women in detail? (They are creatures of the same God). (Genesis 1:27)

* To show that men and women are very closely related to each other and, at the same time, different from each other.

* Men and women are unique beings, each with a special role and purpose in this world.

Why God created woman

One). It is not good for a man to be alone. (18 prizes)

The expression “not good” means incomplete, incomplete, or lacking. also lonely

A man cannot reproduce offspring alone, and he cannot conquer and rule the world. (Genesis 1:28)

Bottom line: Man is half of the creation of man. The other half planned to create a woman next to a man.

(John 1:4, 5:24, 10:10, 14:27, 15:11; Matt 11:28; 1 Peter 5:7)

2). The man needed a companion to help him. (18th)

“helping” means appropriate, compatible, compliant, harmonious, paired, opposite, equal, etc.

God created women to be suitable for men (1) to be the counterpart of men, (2) to have the same character as men, (3) to have the same rank as men, and (4) to be mentally, physically, and morally suitable for men.

Important points of woman creation

① The woman also planned creation. ②The reason was for men. ③ He was created as the parent of all mankind.

2. He created all kinds of wild animals and birds of the air and led them to Adam. (19~20)

Why did the creation of an animal and the naming of it suddenly enter the center of the woman's creation?

One). We re-emphasize that God is the Creator of all living things. (19)

This is to re-emphasize that every man is the creator of every living creature he encounters. To learn this fact, to keep it in mind, and to receive the perfect and proper woman, he had to depend on God.

2). God shows that humans are superior to animals. (19~20)

① Humans have more authority than animals. (Clears the animal's name)

② Humans have higher intelligence than animals.

③ Humans are superior beings and individuals than animals.

3). To show a man that he needs a woman. (20)

Whether researching or observing animals, at some point along the way, you realize that all animals have a mate that resembles them, but that they do not. that is

Creation was not yet complete, and God had to create a match for man.

① This way of making Adam feel the need for a woman will inevitably have a tremendous influence on Adam.

② The way he felt the need for a woman was the way God told him one thing that men should always remember. In other words, it is the fact that men and women were created to be equal to each other, to be companions to each other, and to be opponents of each other.

Key point: Men and women are equal in character and being equal. What is different is the role and purpose of this land.

It is different. (Ephesians 5:22-33)

3. Creation of Woman (21~22)

It shows the intimacy, that is, the sense of companionship, that men and women want to be together while working together.

One). God puts Adam to sleep and takes a rib from him. (21)

God did not create woman in the same way that He created man and the animal kingdom independently.

He removed a rib from his body as if a surgeon was operating.

2). He created woman from Adam's rib. (22)

Why did you create a woman with a man's body? (Did not take dirt from the ground like Adam did)

① A woman came out of a man's need.

② A woman will become the object of a man's attachment.

③ The woman will become one with the man.

④ It is for men and women to embrace and take care of each other.

⑤ The woman is the glory and crown of creation. (Woman is the glory and crown of man and nature)

* Trimmed with bones cut from the ground, more refined and beautiful, the pinnacle of creation, the highest glory.

⑥ It is taken from the chest to give men warmth, gentleness, and courage.

* A woman becomes a protecting force or a destructive force in a man's life.

3). He made a man and a woman to be together. (22-24)

Man and woman were brought together by God (1 Corinthians 11:2, 7-9, 11-12; 1 Tim 2:12-15).

Whether we study or observe animals, at that time, all animals have partners, but Adam has the same attributes as his own flesh.

did not have a mate There was no one to share life with.

① The union between man and woman was established by God (7, 22, 24).

② Woman is equal to man.

③ Man was created before woman. (23, 18; 1 Tim 2:13; 1 Cor 11:8-9)

It refers to order and priority.

In the order of family and society, ① men come first, ② then women, and ③ then children.

* Even within a social organization, there must be a head of the organization.

* Lesson for the head: true order and order lie not in domination, but in voluntary obedience and love.

(1 Corinthians 11:3; 11:7-10; Ephesians 5:22-23; 1 Timothy 2:12-14)

④ Marriage is the first social institution, and separation from parents. Mutual Union. must be one body.

4). Both male and female were created as perfect beings. (25)

Man and woman were created perfectly, without sin and without shame.

Although the man and woman were naked, they were neither embarrassed nor ashamed.

* Because they were perfect and without sin, there was nothing to be ashamed of.

God established the family as the first institution. All institutions in society have their roots in the family.
