Title [Genesis 39:1-6] Joseph with God
Joseph was sold by his brothers and went to Egypt. He began to walk on a rough road far from his father's favorite or the dream he had dreamed of. This chapter records the history of Joseph, focusing on the case of being sold as a slave to Potiphar's house and imprisoned under an ambiguous frame. What is particularly emphasized in these events is the fact that Jehovah God was with Joseph. Now, I would like to introduce Joseph, who was with Jehovah, and receive grace.
1. Joseph became a household secretary in Potiphar's house (1-6).
2. Joseph resisted sexual temptation (7-18).
3. Although Joseph was imprisoned, he found favor in the prison (19-23).
It is unfair to be sold as a slave, but to be framed and imprisoned is even more injustice. But Joseph endured everything without complaining, making excuses, or complaining. It was because he had left everything to God's will. ① Do not rely on people's trust. Potiphar also believed his wife rather than Joseph and put Joseph in prison. ②God was with Jeonok so that he could receive grace and added mercy. His injustice was relieved by God's loving hand. ③Jeonok entrusted Joseph with all affairs and did not interfere. It has earned you trust. In this way, God was with Joseph no matter what circumstances he was in, so that everything prospered. I hope that God will be with us as well so that we may be blessed and prosper in any circumstances.
