◎ Introduction
: Joseph became a slave and ended up in prison. Through blessings and trials, we become stronger.

1. Joseph falling into a trap (10-12)
※ Notice that Joseph was subjected to severe temptations every day.

※ The woman persistently seduced Joseph because of her lust for Joseph and her passion for him.
※ Since Joseph was sincere toward God, he firmly refused the temptation. Not only that, he was far away from the woman and did not want to appear in front of her.

Meditation
Few sins throughout our lives are as attractive as sexual sins.
※ Sex is a normal desire given by God, but it is given for marriage.
① God forbids sexual relations other than marriage.
② God always provides a way of escape for us.
2. Joseph strengthened through trials (13-20)
※ He, who will become prime minister of Egypt in the next few years, had to learn humility, patience, and strength.
※ In order to become a fair and sympathetic manager, you will suffer injustice, be humbled, and lose everything you had.
I had to learn what to let go. Then learn to be patient and endure it all to pass.

Meditation
※ There are countless things that can make us humble.

3. Strengthened by the grace of God (21-23)
※ Joseph became stronger through the grace of God's presence.
※ Joseph had to realize God's caring hand and learn to depend more and more.
