For the glory of God Galatians 01:21-24
(Gal 1:24) Glory be to God through me.
Our purpose in life is for the glory of God.
To glorify God is to please God,
The appearance of God, the praise of God… … .
(Isa 43:7) All who are called by my name, I will do it for my glory.
Let the one who created him come, I formed him, and he I made him.
(1 Corinthians 10:31) So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do,
Do it all for the glory of God
What is sin?
(Romans 1:21) But when they knew God, they did not glorify him or give thanks to him.
Rather, their thoughts became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
One who reveals the glory of God,
Those who reveal the name of God are bound to live with thanksgiving.
“Glory to God!”
1. Glory to God in the field of life
Verse 21, in the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
After meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus, Paul went to Arabia. Then they returned to Damascus, and went to Jerusalem and Cilicia in Syria.
But it didn't just go away. He preached the gospel wherever he went. conveyed faith.
The field of his life became a place where the glory of God was revealed.
Asia, Macedonia, Greece, Athens, Rome, Spain...
Jesus revealed the glory of God wherever he went.
God where are you? asks.
He asks as he asked Adam.
(Genesis 3:9) The LORD God called Adam and said to him,
where are you
Where am I?
Where should I give my glory?
Paul moved from place to place,
It was aimed at the glory of God.
I didn't go because I wanted to go.
It wasn't because I wanted to be.
For the glory of God wherever God sends
For the glory of God wherever God sends...
It's not just about glorifying God in the church.
Everyone you meet should give glory to God in the circumstances they find themselves in.
We must glorify God by becoming the fragrance of Christ in every place in the field of life that God sends.
(2 Corinthians 2:14) always make us triumphant in Christ,
The smell of the knowledge of Christ in every place through us
Thank God for revealing
2. Glory to God in a transformed form
Verse 23, when I heard that the faith that I was trying to destroy before is now being preached.
It conveys the belief that it was trying to destroy before.
It is that the person who was previously meant to destroy has now become a person who preaches faith.
In a word, it has changed.
Saul was changed to Paul. It's not just the name that has changed.
His life changed.
His view of the priesthood, his view of salvation, his view of life, his values, and his world view have all changed.
It has been changed according to God's heart. changed in value.
Who glorifies God?
A person with a changed lifestyle.
A changed image that clearly distinguishes the person before believing in Jesus and after believing in Jesus
It must have a look.
3. Glory to God with those around you
Verse 24, they glorified God through me.
Sometimes we are greedy to glorify God if we do something wrong.
So, if you think that I am glorifying God,
There are times when we take pride in the glory of God.
More importantly, I need to take a step forward in glorifying God so that other people see me and glorify God.
“The churches… glorify God through me,” he said.
Paul did not glorify God
Those around him who looked at Paul glorified God.
(Matthew 5:16) In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
(1 Peter 2:12) In order that those of the Gentiles, who accuse you of doing evil, by your good conduct, may see your good works and glorify God on the day he comes.
People around me must discover that God is alive because of me.
People around me should give thanks to God because of me.
When children do well, parents are praised by those around them.
If the people do well, the country will be praised by neighboring countries.
The same is true.
We need to get rid of the selfish and arrogant thought that only I can give glory.
Together we glorify
Be humble and be an instrument of glory.
God, through me all people may glorify you.
Glory to God!
