Glory to God! /Luke 7:11-17
1. The dead cannot glorify God. (verses 11-13)
2. How can I live again? (verses 13-15)
When the dead got up and sat down and began to speak, all were afraid before the power of God, and they glorified God and were comforted that God had taken care of his people. Only when we live like this can we glorify God. He said it happened because he was alive. As faith without works is dead, so the living must be manifested in deeds. I spoke because I was alive. Now, we must praise and evangelize God with our mouths. The mountain man speaks. The living have a warm heart. They know how to love their neighbors passionately, so they take the lead in spreading the gospel. The living breathe. There will be prayer, which is spiritual breathing. We cannot do it on our own, so we must receive the power of prayer and give glory to God. Because of this living man, the news of Jesus spread throughout the country. Because of us, the word of the Lord must be widely proclaimed. If we have not yet revealed God's work, we are dead. This shouldn't be the case. Only by living again can the will of God be accomplished. I will finish speaking.
A dead person becomes a person who only afflicts other people. They say they are alive, but in reality they are not dead. Looking at the circumstances of my family, church, and country, I must first live anew myself. With good education and good politics, we cannot live again. Only when you truly meet Jesus can the heart and life touched by the word come to life again. Only then will we be glorified to God. May we become saints who testify of the Lord powerfully like Christians who stand up and practice the word of action, and become passionate people who practice love by praying and truly glorifying God through everything we do in the name of the Lord. Congratulations.
