Title God Who Prepares the Way

Contents

Hymn: 313 (New Hymn No. 524) 'He made the way clear'

Meditation: Every human being is a being who feels limited in the face of an uncertain future and life problems. However, since people of faith live with hope in God, they endure well under the same circumstances. Let's take a look at how God leads those who live with hope in God.

Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed

Text: "Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. The Egyptians you saw today will never be seen again. The LORD will fight for you, and you will be still. Gen." (Exodus 14:13-14)

If you look at the text, great trials will come to the people of Israel before the thrill of the Exodus is gone. The Red Sea blocked their way, and behind them many Egyptian armies pursued them. A dire dilemma had arisen. Our lives as saints are like this. Suffering problems come suddenly. How should we live to walk this path?

First, we must believe in the promise and live in hope. The Israelites faced difficulties on their way to the Promised Land, Canaan. But this time Moses spoke boldly to the fearful people. He believed that God was with him. He could not do anything with human methods, but he believed that God could do anything. Moses saw the problems ahead through Almighty God. Negative people and unbelievers mostly look only at the barriers that stand in their way. However, people with positive faith look to God with faith to break down barriers and make a way.

Second, we must believe and look forward to God's preparation even in the face of difficulties. The Israelites did not know how to get through the difficulties. However, Moses, a man of faith, believed that there was a way that God had planned, even in the midst of a dilemma. The path that God has prepared is not easily seen with our eyes, but when we pass the path that God leads, we can say, 'Ah! You have such a plan.' In the face of any problems, we must believe in God's preparation and look to God.

Prayer: I believe in God's unchanging love. No matter how great the problems that stand in our way, we believe that if God is with us, the road ahead will be opened. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
