Jeremiah 22
20. Go up to Lebanon and cry, lift up your voice in Bashan and cry out in Abarim, for all who love you are destroyed.
21. I spoke to you when you were in peace, but you said, “I will not listen.” It is your habit that you have not obeyed my voice since you were young.
22. All your shepherds will be swallowed up by the wind, and those who love you will go into captivity, then you will surely be put to shame and reproach for all your evil
23. You who dwell in Lebanon and nest in cedars, how wretched is your pity when pain like the agony of a woman comes upon you
Luke 22
39.Jesus went out and went to the Mount of Olives according to his custom, and his disciples followed him.
40. And when he came to that place, he said to them, Pray that you will not enter into temptation.
41. They left us, went as far as stones to throw, and knelt down and prayed.
42. He said to him, Father, if it is your will, remove this cup from me; but it is not my will, but your will.
43. And a messenger appeared to Jesus from heaven and gave him strength.
44. And Jesus prayed more earnestly and with all his might, his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground
45. After praying, he got up and went to the disciples and found them asleep in sorrow
46. He said to him, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray, so that you may not fall into temptation."

Subject : Habits and Health
Text: Jeremiah 22:20-23, Luke 22:39-46,
“If you lose your health, you lose everything” covers all areas of human life, including individuals, families, churches, and nations. There is a saying that ‘a fortress family is a fortress family’ about one aspect of a family that has lost their health. This is because they live by cleverly concealing their problems while building an iron-clad defense net. More and more families like this live wearing masks. Its characteristics are as follows. 1) The motivation to show up to others is very strong, so I am busy taking care of my appearance. But there is no stall. 2) Always be perfect. They cannot tolerate shortcomings and cannot tolerate exposure of their weaknesses to others. 3) Even if you are already mentally divorced, you build a stronghold to keep the frame of your marital relationship. So, they live as a married couple. 4) I am most afraid of change. Without being able to get out of the snares of already hardened ideologies, they slowly die. 5) Mistakes are not tolerated. The obsessive compulsive notion that we should always succeed takes away our peace of mind and is always rigid.
6) We live by strict rules and laws. Violation of this will result in severe penalties. There is no real peace. 7) The command system is firm. The superiority and superiority are clear, and the communication system is always close to orders. 8) Strong self-discipline. They have little consideration for others and cannot tolerate invasion of their own territory. 9) We live immersed in family selfishness. There are no true neighbors. So it's isolated. 10) There is no learning. I am bound by traditional values and am overly critical of myself and others. If you look at the reality of the era of family disintegration beyond the nuclear family era, it may be a look that makes you feel nostalgic or hopeful. But the misfortune of losing health, of course, is nothing more than despair, a march towards death, with no sign of change.
The kings who went through the last days of the southern kingdom of Judah and the sins of that time reached their peak (Jeremiah 22:20-23). Judas, who did not follow the beautiful path of his father Josiah and fell into religious confusion after Manasseh, fluctuated in the rapidly changing international situation and did not break free from evil habits (Jeremiah 22:21). There are habits that the saints must give up. neglect of worship (1 Samuel 2:13-17), laziness (Proverbs 24:30-34), bad habits (Jeremiah 13:23), disobedience (Jeremiah 22:21), stealing from God (Mal 3:8-11), Impatientness (Luke 22:51), lying (John 8:44), idolatry (1 Corinthians 8:7), following the flesh (Ephesians 4:22), etc. Habits that are accustomed to evil.
There are habits of spiritual health that saints must have. This is Jesus-like training. The first is the habit of praying (Luke 22:39-46). It means “according to habit” (Luke 22:39). Like Jesus, it is a prayer life according to what Jesus taught (Matthew 6:5-15). One of the inheritances Jesus' disciples inherited from Judaism is the habit of praying (Acts 3:1). The result of exalting the name of Jesus Christ is healed (Acts 3:2-10). The story of Daniel in the lion's den is a product of habitual prayer (Daniel 6:10). Prayer is the spiritual breath of the saints and communion or dialogue with God. We need a habit of prayer that does not forget the importance of ‘hearing’ while speaking and listening to two elements in conversation. Perhaps meditation on the words of Psalm 1 is a ceremony by ‘hearing the word’. Health is the product of good habits.
