Psalm 95:1-7
The word “we” refers to a relationship that is not alone, but with everyone related to you, including yourself. Therefore, we do not speak separately, but one, and believers who believe in God easily use the words ‘we who believe’ and ‘our Christianity’. That is why we have attachment to God because it is a relationship between God's love and the blood of Jesus.
Where should we be attached to?
First, we must have affection for our country. The people as the people and the rulers as rulers must fulfill their duties to the country in order to keep the country beautiful and healthy. When the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt for 430 years without a nation, the suffering they suffered was indescribable. But God remembered Abraham and appointed Moses to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
God did not only free the Israelites from slavery. Korea, too, lived under the oppression of Japan, but was liberated by God's work. Now, our country is a country of freedom and peace, and it has become a country blessed by God. However, there are still issues to be resolved in terms of reunification and reconciliation between East and West. We must pray for our rulers. When we pray, we will bear beautiful fruits.
Second, we must have attachment to our church. There is a visible church and an invisible spiritual church. It is a church where you can see where the spiritual church gathers to worship and receive grace through prayer and praise. The church is a place where Jesus bought with his blood, a place to receive grace and blessing, and a place to prepare the reward of heaven. Therefore, we must love the Church. Also, the church must continue to grow, develop, and revive. Just as David longed for the temple, and just as the apostles went up to the temple three times a day to pray, we should not miss a meeting and participate in worship with joy. In God, there is one faith, one baptism, and one Lord. When we love and love each other, we become one. Then the church will prosper, our families will prosper, and our businesses will prosper.
Third, we must have attachment to our family. To do this, you must first try to live by faith. To become a good family, we must first become a family that serves God. After Joshua conquered Canaan, he divided the land among the 12 tribes and made a will. “Choose whom you will serve today, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). We are blessed when we serve God well.
Also, if you respect your parents, your family will prosper. Respect for parents is taught throughout the Bible as a source of blessing (Deuteronomy 5:16, Ephesians 6:1~3). When a couple's meeting is beautiful, the family will prosper. Since married couples meet in different relationships, knowledge about married couples is necessary (1 Peter 3:6-7). Therefore, it is necessary to have the awareness that couples can help each other. In order for the family to prosper, we must raise our children in faith. Because children are a gift from God, they must be nurtured, taught, and governed with love. And we must pass on our faith so that we can honor God. Abraham became the father of faith through his children's obedience, and his son received a 100-fold blessing.
Finally, attachment to the family is possible when we live in harmony with each other. The Apostle Paul commanded us to bear with each other all our transgressions and to fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:1-2). When faults are revealed, we should try to solve them in them. That is what a mature church looks like.
