Hymn: 278 (New Hymn 220) 'Before the Beloved Lord'
Meditation: Human beings are born with relationships such as family, friends, and neighbors. All of these relationships should be love relationships. A love relationship is a healthy relationship.
Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed
Text: 'Continue to love your brother and do not forget to be a guest...' (Hebrews 13:1~4, 16-17)
All creatures form colonies. Humans are no exception, and we must live together. Society means human relationships, and interpersonal relationships are important. Through human relationships, people can not only perform work, but also share affection and have a sense of happiness. If human relationships are not smooth or healthy, then life cannot be right. Therefore, all human beings should have healthy relationships and this is called social health.
First, family relationships must be healthy. The core of the family is the husband and wife, and the couple is a relationship created by God. The relationship between husband and wife should be holy. There should be no dirt. Verse 4 says, “Marriage should be honorable among all, and that the bed should not be defiled.” Parents love their children, children respect their parents, and the relationship between siblings should be healthy.
Second, your neighbors must be healthy. He commanded us to love our neighbor, but as ourselves. Verse 16 says, “But do not forget to do good and to share with one another, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” True worship that pleases God is a life of loving and sharing with one another and doing good.
Third, the relationship between the saints and the clergy must be healthy. A believer must have a good relationship with God, and then a good relationship with the clergy. Only then will you be spiritually healthy. “Obey and be submissive to those who lead you, for they watch for your souls, as they are those who will give you money” (verse 17).
Finally, relationships with co-workers and managers must be healthy. Ephesians 6:5-9 speaks of this. Employees are expected to work with integrity and be obedient. Masters and superiors must manage and take care of them with impartiality and fairness. We must trust each other and help each other. You really have to treat them like family.
Prayer: God, help me to live a healthy life in a relationship of love. I pray in Jesus name. Amen
