101226-2 Second Worship
I only got one thing from my father. The Bible that my father had read all his life was given to me when I entered theology, and I still have it on my desk. But while the other children received many other things, I only received one Bible. Thank you for that now. I feel that there is a lot flowing through those words.
In the new year, things double and nothing changes. The sun rises, the sun sets, and the air is the same. The environment is the same. The church is the same. It's all the same. But we call it a new year. what is the new year The living environment in which we live, nothing has changed. Why do you say New Year?
God made the earth revolve around the sun periodically. Exactly one lap is one year. This is an unbreakable law of nature. There is no planet in the solar system that is habitable for birds, animals, plants, or humans. The solar system is only for the sake of Earth. The solar system exists only for humans and only for us. Even just looking at this, Almighty God is taking care of us.
Now that electricity is on inside the church, I can see a little brighter and warm it up. Because it uses electricity, the heater comes in and my voice can be heard accurately through the microphone. That electricity gives us energy. But you can't see the generator that generates electricity here. They don't know where they are, but they clearly believe they are providing electricity. What is the belief we have? It is seeing things that cannot be seen. Faith is the evidence of things we cannot see, and faith is the substance of things we hope for.
The sun changes in just 5 days. The new year has the precious meaning of giving us life. Our past is the end. Our sinful, uncomfortable past is over. It gives you new opportunities. It is only possible in God. Please be sure to attend the Song Gu-Young-Shin worship service. God gives us a space where we can create blessings through worship. To give time means to take time to live again. To die is to lose time. A new year means that you have received a year from God. But a new year that starts without God is useless. As we start 2011, we need to start with the right mindset. The beginning is half. The start should be straight. It is the fact that the viewpoint of time must be precisely aligned with God.
Today's text is a poem of David, a poem of real repentance. The prophet Nathan came and rebuked David, and David repented and wrote this psalm. David's crime was adultery and murder. He had committed adultery with his subordinate's wife and insidiously murdered his husband to cover up his sins. Our children were loyal. He ordered Joab to make him a fierce warrior on the battlefield, and gave him medals, praised him, and tried to cover his sins. Uriah knew the intention of King David to do him good. However, he is a loyalist who kept it a secret between the two of them and did not reveal it.
God forgave David who had committed this sin and greatly exalted David in history. Jesus, son of David! Why was David forgiven and greatly used? It's one thing. Repentance. The repentance that David can do is not the repentance that anyone can do. The prophet Nathan comes before the king and tells the story of the rich man with ninety-nine sheep and the poor man with one sheep. David can't stand his anger. Then Prophet Nathan said, “You are that person!” Point your finger. Then David got down on his knees, put ashes on his head, and tore his clothes, and repented. This is really difficult. It is not difficult for us to repent alone.
We always have sin. Anyone can repent in the closet. It is not difficult to secretly repent of sins committed secretly. When God reveals sin, it is revealed in the light. When Satan takes it out, that person dies. When God moves you to expose your sins, I hope you will obey. David was a king, and because he was a leader, he revealed his sins in front of many people.
There is something amazing we have to give as we pass the year and welcome the new year. We must have this heart and this attitude clearly.
First, verses 9-10. Give me a clean heart and renew an honest spirit. blot out my sins You must have this experience to be new. It is the history of creation that regenerates us. Repentance does not come through effort. Repentance is God's creation. I must see the cross that took my sins for me. Do not take the weight of sin lightly. Human sin demanded the life of Jesus. A pure heart is a heart that justifies, and a heart that lives according to God's will is a pure heart. I hope it will be your prayer. Restore me to my most loyal times.
Second, verses 16-17. What we must bring before the Lord is a broken spirit. It is a contrite heart. A broken heart by renewing it is a heart that grieves for sin. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will see God. If you put your broken heart before God and feel pain, there is no need to say anything. If you just say ‘Lord,’ He will give you a contrite heart. I want to be the time to give you the Spirit to completely cast away sins.
Third, verses 18-19. For those whose sins are not cast away, look at this verse. Talk about community. I'm talking about Jerusalem. I am afraid that my sins may harm this country. They fear that they will destroy this Jerusalem. At the end of the year, I earnestly pray that this prayer is alive. -Amen-
I'll say it again. If the consequences of sin are only on me, anyone will sin. Keep that in mind. It is the result of sin that my single sin makes the family, the nation, the church, and all these things wrong.
Dear saints!
The more we do not forsake our sins, the smaller the door of grace becomes. Reduce gatherings around the world. I hope you will break all the ties that can lead to sin. Sin closes the door not only of children, but of this nation. God, please do not close the door of this nation because of my sins. Remember. It is not because I have sinned that I am stigmatized, but because I have not repented. I bless all the saints who have washed away all the sins of the old year in 2010 and are enjoying the grace of 2011.-Amen-
I will pray.
Since God is present at this time, are there things that we cannot throw away because we are human beings? Holy Spirit, bless us so that we can live according to your commands by breaking the deep root of sin to the depths of our skin and nerves. Please create a pure heart. Renew an honest spirit. Give me a broken heart. Give me a contrite heart to cast away sins and wash me clean. I pray in the name of Jesus.-Amen-
