obedient children
Hebrews 5:7-10
[Heb 5:7] While he was in the flesh he offered up supplications and supplications with loud cries and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
[Heb 5:8] Even though he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered,
[Hannah 5:9] Having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
[Hebrews 5:10] He was called by God to be a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
Introduction
A distinctive feature of the Christian sacraments is the rite of proof that from Adam's sin to his original sin was forgiven and cleansed.
Jesus suffered and died on the cross to save those who would be destroyed by sin.
Before He was crucified, Jesus was so afraid of the suffering that He asked His Father to avoid suffering on the cross with intense weeping and tears.
But Jesus, as the Son of God the Father, had already learned to obey the Father, so he chose to obey the Father's will rather than his own will.
Ultimately, he suffered on the cross and died.
[The Instruction and Application of the Sacraments]
What is belief? Are you saved and are you blessed? It is okay, but it is obeying God. We who believe are also children of God.
Like Jesus, we too must obey our Heavenly Father's will.
Jesus did filial piety by obeying God the Father.
Not only should we obey our Heavenly Father to be filial, but we too must become children who obey and filially obey our physical father.
Jesus, who obeyed the Father, eventually died on a terrible cross. But the Lord overcame death and rose again. So he became the source of salvation for all who believed in him and became a high priest.
[Lesson]
Just as Jesus suffered and died on the cross, but was resurrected and triumphed, so too, when we obey God, it may seem like failure at first, but in the end, like Jesus, we will be victorious.
As a child, it may be difficult at times to obey your physical parents, but if you obey your parents with joy, you will eventually win and be blessed.
Also, those who participate in the Lord's Supper are blessed as they understand the meaning of Jesus torn flesh and shed His blood for us, and that He will never cry again for nailing Him to the cross, and that He will not commit the sin of shedding blood.
Baptism means “to wash away sins” (Acts 2:38). It is also a sign of union with Christ (Galatians 3:27).
Baptism is a sign of dying with the Lord and being buried with the Lord (Acts 10:48, 1 Corinthians 1:17) and being resurrected with the Lord.
Jesus was also baptized by John the Baptist in humility (Mark 1:6). Although he was without sin, he authorized this rite through baptism himself. So he abolished the rite of circumcision and established the rite of baptism.
Sinners confess their faith to Jesus and receive salvation through baptism, confirming that they have become children of God.
Baptism is done with "water". (John 3:5, 1 Corinthians 12:3, Romans 8:9)
Water (Exodus 17:6, Ezekiel 36:25-27, 47:1, John 3:5, 4:14, 7:38-39))
Water has the meaning of purifying and saving lives at the same time. All living things need "water". That is why water is also called “water of life”.
Baptism is to publicly seal in the presence of the Holy Trinity and in front of the council that we have become children of God.
It is to put a seal (seal). (2 Tim 2:19, Ephesians 1:13, Rev 7:3))
Baptism is when a person who believes in Jesus and has been renewed becomes a person of God.
It is a declaration of being chosen by God to be God's property.
Baptism is what Jesus commanded and received (Romans 6:4).
Sacrament
The sacrament is a holy ceremony in which the baptized or entered church becomes one with Jesus with joy. The Lord's Supper is a ceremony in which believers become one by eating and drinking the flesh and blood of Jesus. And all the saints become one member.
The sacrament is a ceremony to vividly remember and give thanks to the Lord who suffered and died for me. (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)
The bread commemorates the body of Jesus (1 Corinthians 11:24).
The wine commemorates the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 11:25).
Those who participate in the Lord's Supper must avoid sin, live by faith, and preach the gospel diligently. We should pray and study the Bible reverently every day.
When we go out into society, we must walk with God and live by light and salt.
The Lord said.
[HAN John 6:35]
I am the bread of life; he who comes to me will never go hungry.
He who believes in me will never thirst. I am the bread of life.
This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that a man may eat and not die.
[HAN John 6:51]
If a man eats this bread, he will live forever.
The bread I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.
[HAN John 6:53]
Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
[HAN John 6:55]
My flesh is true food and my blood is true drink.
This is the bread that came down from heaven, not as the ancestors ate and died; whoever eats this bread will live forever.
Whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup will live forever.
Thank you. Please enjoy the rice cake and cup with excitement.
The saints who participate in the sacrament must live the rest of their lives worthily for the Lord.
[Picture] The Count's Funeral
Chief Notary of the Royal Palace of Gastiya
He used the money he earned throughout his life to donate to the church and to help the poor and marginalized. He died in 1323, and at the funeral, Stephen and Augustine descended from heaven and buried the body themselves. At this time, people heard a voice saying, “Those who serve God and saints well are rewarded in this way.” After the funeral he wrote a will
He used his wealth to pay back the money owed by the poor saints and the bishops every year, and the Sante Tome Church had no financial difficulties. In his honor, El Greco painted over his tomb in 1586.
The figure below shows the priest leading the funeral and the funeral.
Above is an angel guiding the Count's soul as he ascends to heaven.
let's pray
Ask me to have a holy and pure heart worthy of receiving the sacrament.
