Three inevitable things (Hebrews 9:27-28)

"It is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, free of sin, to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. "(27-28)

The text speaks of three solemn events from which all people cannot escape: death, judgment, and the second coming.

. Not everyone can escape death (27)

1. It is ordained for man to die once.

on,

He said, "There are warriors who can resist the waters of the Daedong River, and who can stop the sun from setting in the mountains?

So, Carnegie of America, the tycoon of the century who boasted the power of gold, died, and Onassis of Greece also died. Edison, who boasted the power of science, Bismarck, who boasted of power, and Napoleon also died. Jeong Ju-yeong, who had a dream of unification and visited North Korea with a herd of 1,000 cattle, also died without seeing unification. Death is a knock on everyone's door. I knock on the emperor's door, knock on the boss' door, knock on the healer's door, and knock on the beggar's door.

There is no distinction between east and west and ancient and old.

Eastern people die and Westerners die. America will die when the time is right. About 25 years ago, a certain butler lived in the United States for a long time, and he invited several brothers from Korea to immigrate to the United States and entered the United States. Many members of the church sent it with envy and regret, but two months later, a letter arrived saying that my sister had died in a car accident while going to work.

It is either in the past or now. With the development of science, the map of the human genome has been completed, and it is said that in the future, even incurable diseases can be cured. Still, there is no way to stop him from dying.

There is no distinction between race, rich and poor, or noble.

There is no order of age either.

It doesn't matter if the body is healthy or weak.

It seems that the first person to die because of a body ache, but it is not. People who live on the edge often live longer.

2. Death is the last train that cannot carry any of life's burdens.

This last train of death cannot carry a single bundle of life. All people come and go empty-handed and go empty-handed. (Job 1:21-22) "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the LORD gave and the LORD took away; blessed be the name of the LORD." He did not sin, and did not murmur foolishly against God."

Alexander the Great's father, King Philip II, had a wise servant to greet him every morning, and the servant got up every morning and stood at the king's gate and said, "Your Majesty, are you in peace? Remember that your Majesty is sure to die." made me say And when he died, he made this will. “When I die, weave a coffin with holes on both sides so that you can extend your hands so that everyone will see me and understand that I have to go empty-handed because I have brought nothing.” He was truly a wise king. I knew I was dead and I knew I had to go empty-handed. So you can't do anything unclean.

There are problems in living as if people will never die, there is greed, and there are human evils. You must always think that you must go before God through the process of death at the end of all life, and you must have passion and emotion to give your life for the Lord. I love the Lord with a heart that wants to give everything I have, and I have to live according to God's will every day.

on,

He said, "I have a lot of land, and after I die, I have enough Japanese paper in the Samcheok Gwangjang, and I have a lot of clothes, so when I leave, isn't one shroud coffin enough?"

In this way, on the last train of life's death, you cannot carry any of the wealth that you have accumulated through labor on earth, even if you have enjoyed wealth, honor, and authority.

3. The death of the saints is a blessed death.

(Rev 14:13) "And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are those who die in the Lord after the treasury." And the Holy Spirit said, "Yes, they will put an end to their toil, and they will rest according to what they have done." more"

The death of a believer who believes in Jesus and is saved in the Lord is the blessed death in which all the toils of the world and the flesh cease and enjoy true and eternal rest. The world we live in is actually a series of hardships.

The saint's death is sleeping.

Jesus said of a ruler's dead daughter, "This girl is not dead, she is sleeping." Of the dead Lazarus, Jesus said, "Our friend Lazarus is asleep, but I am going to wake him up."

The Apostle Paul (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14) “We do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, so that you do not grieve like others who have no hope. In the same way, God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus.” To live in the hope of salvation and believe in Jesus is to sleep. To "sleep" means to be alive. Just as the real world changes from the real world to the dream world, those who believed and died only changed the world from the real world to heaven.

The "sleeper" wakes up again the next morning.

In this way, those who have believed and died will wake up from the grave and be resurrected at the second coming of Jesus at the end of the world.

"Sleeping" is peaceful. Those who believe and die will go to heaven and enjoy peace and rest.

The death of the saints means returning to their eternal hometown, the kingdom of heaven.

Immigrating to a better heaven.

(Hebrews 11:16) “They now long for a better homeland, which is in heaven.” (Revelation 21:3-4) “God will dwell with them, and they will be God’s people, and God Himself will be with them.” He was with him and wiped every tear from his eyes, and there will be no more death, nor will there be any more mourning or crying or pain, for the first things have passed away."

.Not everyone can escape judgment (27)

It is said that after a person's death there must be judgment.

In spring, the farmer plows the field, fertilizes it, sows seeds, weeds it, and takes care of it. And in autumn, the harvest must be done to separate the wheat and chaff.

The wheat is stored in a warehouse, but the chaff is put into the furnace and burned. In the same way, after we finish the farming of our lives, we must go before God, our master, to be judged. The wheat goes into the storehouse of heaven, and the chaff has no choice but to go into the eternal hellfire.

1. There are public and private judges.

2. Do you believe in public judging? don't you believe It's a referee.

Believers go to heaven, and unbelievers go to hell. Therefore, the believer is exempt from public judgment and enters the kingdom of heaven. (John 5:24) “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”

3. Self-judgment is to receive rewards and punishments according to what you have done throughout your life.

Believers will also be judged according to their deeds, and those who receive a crown reward will be glorified.

For example, all those who attended school receive the same diploma upon graduation, but receiving an award is like receiving only a few students according to their studies. Those who go to church and believe in Jesus receive all the citizenship of heaven. However, to receive the crown prize is to receive it according to your faith. (2 Corinthians 5:10) “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”

(Rev 20:12) "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as they were written in the books." There is a book of life and a book of works. We all write one book in our lifetime. I am writing one page every day. Whether you like it or not, your deeds will all be recorded and opened before the judgment seat of God. I don't even know the obvious facts from the world hearings, I don't remember. You can pass it if you do. You cannot use excuses, excuses, or the right to remain silent before God's judgment seat. Because there is solid evidence. Therefore, we must be careful with the faith that fears God with the belief that every word we say and every action we take today will be revealed in front of the judgment seat.

We must become blessed saints who receive the crown of glory by doing many good deeds of faith.

3. Not everyone can escape the Second Coming (28)

At the end of this world, Christ will return.

It is a fixed rule that a person is born and dies once, and it is God's providence. Death is irresistible and final. After death, all people will be judged.

* At the end of this world, there will be the second coming of Jesus, the greatest event of mankind.

The heaven of sin and the earth of sin will disappear, and a new heaven and a new earth will come.

1. Christ came first to forgive mankind's sins

Jesus Christ bore the sins of many people and completed redemption by dying on the cross. If anyone believes in this Jesus, their sins will be forgiven and they will receive eternal life without going to hell. (Romans 5:8, 10) “God demonstrates his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Since they have been reconciled with them, much more will he who is reconciled be saved by his life."

2. He comes again to give salvation to the saints.

Christ returns to deliver salvation to those who long for him. (John 14:1-3) "Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many dwelling places, otherwise I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

Therefore, we must prepare, long for and watch the Lord every day.

Dear saints,

We must always remember and do not forget the three inevitable death, judgment, and second coming in our lives. Knowing that the death of a believer is the blessing of immigrating to a better heaven, live with faith that pleases God whether we live or die, think of the judgment that will reward us according to our deeds, be careful in everything, and always look forward to the Second Coming and prepare for faith well. You must become a saint. Amen
