Title Help me (Mark 9:14-24)
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will weary you” (Matthew 11:28).
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink” (John 7:37).
"He answered, 'O unbelieving generation!'
In this way, the world we live in today is a world in which we live with toil and heavy burdens. thirsty
thirsty world. We live in a world where we live in fear, anxiety, and faithless life.
In the Bible we read today, a person, a desperate aspect of a person's life, is expressed.
It looks like it has been turned over, foaming and grinding its teeth, and its face has turned blue (Mark 9:18).
We don't know if we live like this.
Lack of affection in childhood and wandering in youth, conflict in youth and fatigue in adulthood,
And he may be living with an empty and empty heart while experiencing the loneliness of old age.
When I was young, I was timid when I was a mature adult with a profound sense of fear for an uncertain future.
The more I get older, the more I regret and the more I feel sorry for myself.
There are many times when I look into the distant space with many converted eyes.
That doesn't mean we can't live with our heads down in weakness.
Now something has to be done, has to happen, and has a chance to change.
Opportunities for a new leap do not come often.
When and what to do?
A life that stopped because you built a wall on your own and couldn't get over it, entangled yourself and unraveling it
A life that is tangled because you can't pay, you lock yourself up and you can't do anything
How can we get rid of a helpless life?
1. Tell God about my circumstances and situation.
The person introduced in the Bible is (17) a son possessed by a dumb spirit (18) collapses and burps his teeth
(21) He is a person who has suffered since childhood.
(14) There was a large crowd around him, and there were social leaders like scribes
(18) "We could not do it" was of no help.
We always had only negative and passive conclusions.
However, if you bring this to Jesus and entrust it, the problem will be solved.
(15) "When the whole crowd immediately saw Jesus, they were amazed and ran to him." (17) "I brought him to the teacher."
You have to come out first and you have to bring it back.
This not only solves my chronic problems, but also changes my surroundings.
2. Confess frankly that you have no faith.
In fact, we do not know whether we have confidence based only on our years and positions without faith.
The result without belief is always just pleading and doing nothing with only dissatisfaction.
(19) He said, "Bring him to me, you unbelieving generation."
(22) "If you can, have pity on me and help me." (24) "I believe."
"Help me in my unbelief."
Now we need to know what is urgent.
And you must honestly confess your unbelief and ask for help.
3. If You Do
(23) "If it is possible, what do you mean? Nothing is impossible for those who believe."
(27) "Jesus took his hand and raised him up, and he stood up."
Do not pretend that you are not because of your pride, age, or position, and do not bear heavy burdens anymore.
Stop wandering in this thirsty and thirsty world, hold the hand of Jesus and get up now
do.
There is nothing impossible for Jesus.
