[Summary of speech]
Starting this week, new believers or registered members of the church will be connected with church lay leaders through Sundasing.
Sundasing is an Indian saint. One day, as Sun Dasing was crossing the Himalayas in a blizzard, a man fell from exhaustion.
A man was walking down the road, saw the scene, and after thinking about it, he left it and headed for the Himalayas alone. Sun Dasing sees it as he passes by and decides to carry it with him, thinking that he cannot leave it alone as a person who believes in God. After a while, the person in front froze to death. Thunder Singh carried him across the Himalayas.
The person who went alone thought about why he was able to freeze to death and why he was able to live.
The reason was that he was able to survive because of the body temperature of carrying a person and the sweaty sweat.
If a new registrant comes and goes directly to the volunteer part and starts dating, it will be able to take root.
Even after a long time since coming to church, there are many people who fail to take root and fall in their faith and leave the church. Belief alone is not always good. When my faith is good, my faith is maintained, but when I get discouraged and fall, there is no one to help me.
So, from now on, we are going to introduce this kind of sundasing to our church. We plan to connect with church leaders so that members of the church can get to know each other and take root in the church. We look forward to your cooperation.
Today's title hit halek in Hebrew means to walk with God.
Companion means to walk together. In the Bible, there are many people who walked with God. Among them, today, I would like to talk about how Enoch and Noah in Genesis lived together with God and what blessings they received.
first. It is recorded that Enoch gave birth to Methuselah when he was 65 and walked with God for 300 years.
In the Bible, it is recorded twice that Enoch walked his life with God.
If we walk with God, it is easy to think that we live a life different from ours. But Enoch didn't do great things. He walked with God and lived a normal life. He lived an ordinary life and walked with God. People like Moses did miracles while walking with God, but the Bible records that Enoch walked with God in small and small things.
What do you think about when you do your daily work? What is it like to walk with God from the small and trivial things of this daily life?
These are our daily lives, where we sleep, eat, and go to the market.
The thought of thanking the Lord for giving the wind, rain and sun until this rice came out, thanks to the farmer who worked hard for this rice, eating this rice and praying for our children to be healthy…
It means being thankful to God for these little things.
The Bible tells us to give thanks in everything.
I am grateful for the things that happen in our daily life, just as Enoch lived an ordinary life and walked with God these days.
Enoch lives a life of walking with God like this and can see that God has taken him.
In Genesis 5, we see who gives birth to whom and then dies… Although it was the genealogy of death, only Enoch was able to go to heaven without dying.
Genesis 5:21) Enoch was sixty-five years old when he begat Methuselah.
Genesis 5:22) After begot Methuselah, he walked with God for three hundred years, and had children.
(Genesis 5:23) And he was three hundred sixty-five years old.
(Genesis 5:24) And Enoch walked with God, and he was not in the world, because God took him.
Man had no choice but to die for his sins, but Enoch saw that faith when he walked with God and lived a life of thanksgiving from the smallest things, and he received the blessing of ascending to heaven without dying.
This shows how we should live in this age.
The second is Noah.
Genesis 6 tells us that Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his day, and walked with God.
In the days of Noah, many people sinned. When God saw that, he lamented that he had created man. So, they decided to judge people with water, but God made a ship through Noah and encouraged people to be judged by water, but no one cares about God, only eating, drinking, and getting married. In the end, on the day the ship was built, Noah's family of 8 went in, and all life on this earth died.
All the people were judged and died, but only eight of Noah's family survived and were able to multiply their descendants. The reason is that only Noah lived a life of walking with God.
People these days are only interested in worldly things.
With the spread of automobiles and the implementation of a five-day work week, the church is rapidly becoming secularized.
You will become interested in worldly things and your focus will shift to God.
God tells us a lot.
Through events, through people, through diseases… ..but if we don't listen and care only about the world, we can't hear it.
Our focus should be on God. When we focus on God, we will be able to hear His voice.
When Noah lived a life of walking with God, all the others died, but Noah enjoyed the blessing of living in two worlds.
People of the world can only live in a world without God. However, we believers are not a group of the world, even though we live in such a sinful world, but a holy group that lives in the presence of God. It is a group of people who walk with God and the world through the grace provided by God while having the promised Word of God.
We will live in the world from tomorrow.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that we will go down to the world through a life of walking with God like Noah, but we do not belong to the world and enjoy holy lives as the people who save the world, in the name of Jesus.
