Title Honor Your Parents / Mark 7:8-14

Content Honor your father and mother / Mark 7:8-14

1. In honoring parents, there is a promise of blessing.

“It goes well with you, and you will live long on the earth.” People living in the world want to live a good life without exception. I hope to live a healthy life. Still, it is not understandable that so few people value the secret of this blessing that the Bible offers. Even if you don't sleep at night or work non-stop, if you don't honor your parents, the blessing of prosperity is far from it. We must not forget that respect for parents is presented as the secret to living a healthy life in today's stressful and diseased world.

2. Anyone who curses father or mother will surely die.

Anyone who curses their father or mother will surely die for their sins. Failing to honor one's parents is a sin against the command of God's blessing. And they teach that anyone who curses their parents must be put to death. Parents also make a lot of mistakes. not complete Don't curse or curse though. It is the will of God that man is not made God that the parents of any family are not perfect. It is God's will for imperfect people to live together, to help each other, to encourage, comfort, love, and live together. Once they start blaming each other, the war never ends.

3. There is no substitute for honoring parents.

It is against God's Word to not honor your parents under the name of “Gorban”. Do not say that you cannot honor your parents with it because it is a gift to God. It is unbelief to think that you have nothing to offer your parents because of your voluntary dedication to God. We tend to say that we cannot honor our parents for one reason or another. However, if you deserve to be rebuked for not doing something under the guise of faith, then there is no excuse for not honoring your parents for any other reason. So, how do you honor your parents?

1) Learn to respect your parents.

2) Be grateful and respectful.

A mother was going to the kitchen to prepare breakfast when she found a piece of paper on the table. There, my son wrote: “This week, 5,000 won for washing dad’s shoes, 3,000 won for mom’s errands, 2,000 won for throwing out garbage twice, 10,000 won in total.” The mother wrote a reply at the bottom of the note and wrote on it the 10,000 won her son had claimed. put it up “Carrying you in the womb for ten months - free, all the money I spent feeding, dressing, and raising you - free, praying and nursing you with tears when you were ill, and my true love for you all free!” And he put a million won on that notepad. The next day, the son happily picked up the 10,000 won on the table. And after reading my mother's writing below, I wrote a reply like this. “It has already been paid. I'll give you back a million dollars. I love you mom"

3) Encourage your parents. ① Give generously. ②) Be a conversation partner. ③ Pray. They are parents who have lived their lives praying for their children. The prayer for the child to be well will probably continue even after going to that heaven.

Respect for parents has a promise. If not, there is a curse. Respect for parents cannot be avoided for any reason. Learn to respect your parents. thank and respect Encourage your parents. With pocket money, with conversation, with prayer! Then you will prosper and live long on earth.
