Title How to overcome the crisis?

Contents

Because all people are born in sin, they live with the sufferings and worries of life as the wages of sin.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God's word and ate of the forbidden fruit, the sufferings of life that God gave to human beings, along with eating and drinking, wearing clothes, and cultivating the land for survival, the body had to work through sweat and sweat. The soul must be armed with the full armor of God to overcome the devil.

God sent His Son into the world to save people who are running toward death through the wages of sin and to bless Him with eternal life.

Job, a righteous man from the East, was previously described in Job 5:7

“Life is healed for suffering, like sparks of fire flying over his head.” He said that all life in the world has no choice but to suffer.

However, God, who is rich in mercy, sent His Word and Son into the world to provide a way of escape to those who are living in hardship.

Today's text, Psalm 55, was written by David, the second king of Israel, when he fled from the sword of his son Absalom.

David has many wives, and Amnon is the son of Ahinoam among David's wives.

For this reason, Tamar's brother Absalom lures his half-brother Amnon to his house and orders his servants to kill Amnon and all the princes. (2 Samuel 13, 14)

When David heard that Amnon and his princes had been killed by Absalom, he went to Absalom to investigate the case of killing his half-brother. He plots rebellion against David.

} In 2 Samuel 15, Absalom sat by the city gate with 50 watchmen to make himself known to the people of Israel. When the people told the king what was wrong with him and went out to be judged, he said, “It is no use to go to the king, so do not tell the king. Tell me your injustice, and he begins to tear the hearts of the people of Israel away from David.

Meanwhile, Prince Absalom embraces and kisses those he has counseled.

When they heard that Prince Absalom was hugging and kissing the people, the people who met Absalom said, “Absalom is a very humble person, and he respects our people and solves our injustices if they listen carefully to them.” Many people say that Absalom is good.

In 2 Samuel 15:6, we see Absalom's favor with the people in this way.

“Absalom stole the hearts of the people of Israel.” is recorded.

Absalom worked like this for four years to make the people's hearts his own, and then ran a coup to kill his father David

David's appearance when he fled from Absalom

2 Samuel 15:30 “As David went up the road to the Mount of Olives, he covered his head and ran away weeping barefoot.” “After defeating Goliath with his bare hands and saving Israel from the Philistines, David, who as king, conquered all the neighboring countries and built the most powerful nation on the planet, threw everything in his life to save his life by avoiding his son’s sword. Covered and running barefoot.

Not only that, but even his men, who had risked their lives for David, betrayed David and sided with Absalom.

One time, David was lying in bed with a serious illness, and one of David's close servants came to visit him. Psalm 41 describes it as “my close friend who ate my bread.”

David's friend came to see David, talked to him and comforted him, and then went back, but after hearing rumors later, this man didn't come to see David, but to see when David was going to die. Hearing this, it will never happen again.” David hears a rumor that he is going around.

So David says in verse 20

“He stretches out his hand against him who is reconciled to him, and has betrayed his covenant. His mouth is smoother than milk, but his heart is war; his words are sweeter than oil, but they are drawn swords.” Says. (Counselors speak well.)

Now, David confesses the text while fleeing to maintain his life after being betrayed not only by his son Absalom, but also by his friend and his soldiers.

David's heart was uneasy when his servants and people who had been following him until now belonged to Absalom, who had power and authority, and tried to kill him, but he decided to overcome the crisis in his life.

First, we begin to pray.

Although David suffers from the betrayal of his son and friend, he begins to pray to overcome his crisis (Matthew 7:7- Ask, Seek, Knock).

} Although David could ask for help by telling the surrounding nations about his situation, verse 16 says, “I will cry out to God, and the Lord will save me.” Says.

David is now fleeing from his son's sword, and instead of refining his strength and abilities, he first tells God about his circumstances in prayer.

And in verse 18, “Many were against me, and in the battle against me he redeemed my life, and gave me peace.” “He has redeemed my life and brought me peace,” he said, even though the situation is not over yet and he is in a crisis situation. Says.

David confesses that God has already saved him from the environment of crisis.

David's prayer prays for God's answer behind the realities of crisis and hardship rather than revealing the reality he is facing now, and praises and gives thanks.

David thanked God for the “prepaid prayer” that is often called during the crisis.

} Jesus also said in Mark 11:24, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

The Lord tells us to pray and believe that we have already received what we ask for.

If we also prayed to God for our needs, believe that it has already been fulfilled, this is faith.

When Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead in John 11

“Father, I thank you for hearing me.” This is a word that does not make sense at first glance, but I am confident that Jesus will save me and I pray.

Even if we too, like David, face unexpected accusations and unexpected crises and hardships in life, rather than seek and seek the power and methods of the world, pray to God in faith and God's power to help and miraculously overcome crises and hardships. wish.

2. To overcome the crisis, entrust all of your life to God.

Verse 22: “Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will not allow the righteous to be moved.”

Even in the midst of a crisis, in verse 19, David says, “From the beginning of time God has heard his prayer.” He tells us that God will surely hear his prayer and help us overcome the crisis.

In the early days of the Korean church, an American missionary went to evangelize, and it was a time when transportation was so inconvenient, so I brought a jeep from the United States and drove around to evangelize. We met someone, asked where we were going, and gave us a ride. After a while, the missionary turned around and saw an old woman sitting with a bag of luggage on her head. The missionary said, “Grandma, it is heavy, so put down the luggage.” Then the grandmother said, "No, thank you for picking me up, but I'm sorry I had to get off the car even with my luggage." They say

Why can't people who live in God's blessing be anxious and anxious and not rely on God?

Just as I entrusted my life and all of my life to God, please believe that we can overcome the crises of life when we entrust all of our worries, anxieties, and our future to God's hands. (Matthew 11:28- toil and heavy load)

3. To overcome a crisis, you must have a positive belief that does not view a crisis as a crisis.

Even in the midst of a crisis, Job 23:10 says, “But he knows the way I go; and after he has tried me I will come forth as gold.” Confessing, he asks God for help with faith not to see his crisis as a crisis. (My wife also says to curse God, but she doesn't.)

Please believe that God's blessings do not come to us with blessings alone, but with crises, tribulations, hardships, and blessings come to us. (1 Kings 17-Widow of Zarephath)

Even when David became king of Israel and Job received greater blessings than before, we can see from the Bible that crises and hardships have always been with them.

When Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob receive God's blessing and Israel enters Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey, please believe that God's blessing was with them along with a crisis.

Please believe that the faith God has given to His people is not the only way to see the impossible as the impossible itself, but the holy glasses of affirmation to see the impossible as possible.

When Israel was standing in front of the Red Sea after leaving Egypt, God told Moses in Exodus 14:16 to lift up his staff and stretch it out toward the sea to part it.

} If any of us are in a crisis, please show God the “stick of faith”.

God says that His people can do all things through him who strengthens me in Philippians 4:13. He wants you to overcome the various crises and hardships of life while confessing that.

If you see a crisis as a crisis, you can complain and resent, but believe that you can overcome the present life if you have a positive view of faith that looks at the blessings hidden behind the crisis.

For humans, life and survival in the flesh itself are hardships and crises, but we believe that God has allowed His people to live a victorious life. I pray that you will turn the crises and hardships of your life into opportunities of blessing as you pray and look at the blessings of God hidden behind the crises.
