Sermons for Preaching

Title Ideal and Reality (1 Samuel 3:1-6)

At the time of the Bible

"(3:1) The word of the LORD was rare, and visions were not often seen."

It is an era in which there was no vision and a hopeful tomorrow was not guaranteed.

That said, it is a dark period in life when there is no better way.

“(7) It was at a time when Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not yet appeared to him.”

It is the darkest and most frustrating time when we cannot see or hear anything from God.

No matter how good we are, if our relationship with God is cut off, we can't see the future.

is a person

Even if you have honor, authority, position, or money, if you do not have the ideal that God gives you, joy, joy, satisfaction, and happiness will never come.

can't enjoy

If you have everything and lose your health, you will lose everything. If you have good health and no hope, you will lose everything.

will buy

How can we open up the future?

How can I live an open life?

1. Break away from stereotypes and receive God's call.

“(2) When Eli’s eyes were getting dark and he couldn’t see well, he lay down in his place.”

How frustrating would Eli the priest be? The abnormality is not seen often, and the eyes gradually darken and see well.

He is living a stopped life, a life that has been abandoned, lying in his own place.

How unhappy is a life without satisfaction even though the times are gloomy?

When we see who we are now, we give up and become distrustful so easily.

Even though they know what they can do, they deny that they can't do it based on reality.

You have to live with an open mind, free from stereotypes.

Ears must be opened, eyes must be opened.

"(4, 6, 8) The LORD called Samuel"

When you meet God, everything becomes new.

2. Because the calling has a purpose, fulfill it.

“(11) … Behold, I will do what I have done to Israel.”

“(12) All that I have said … from beginning to end will be done for him in that day.”

What God says will surely come true.

Therefore, all the purposes in the call must be fulfilled.

God's call includes restoration, satisfaction, mission, transformation, regeneration, healing, and devotion.

It gives new vitality to lazy and indolent people and helps people who are depressed and lonely by falling into pessimism and frustration themselves.

It gives hope and courage.

It gives trust and gratitude to people who are negative, passive, jealous, and resentful.

3. If you get an opportunity, don't miss it.

"(19) The LORD was with him, and let not one of his words fall to the ground."

Opportunities do not come often in life.

The opportunity to renew your life is even more so.

The opportunity that comes at such a time may be a new beginning or the last opportunity.

Therefore, we must do our best at the last chance of a new beginning.

We are at a very important time right now.

If you start well, you are already half way through.

The great potential in the unseen and the unseen is not all that is seen and manifested.

You must have the wisdom to see.

And see the guarantee and vision for the future and move forward with power.
