Title If Anyone Is in Christ?

Contents

It is death outside Christ Jesus, but life in Christ Jesus. There can be no obedience except in Christ Jesus, and there can be no disobedience in Christ Jesus. Sin is disobedience, and the wages of sin is death. Righteousness is obedience, and the wages of righteousness are eternal life.

Therefore, “For if, by one man’s trespass, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ. Just as by one act of righteousness, many were justified to life. Just as by the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous” (Romans 5:17-19). ) as evidenced.

Even though all people under the heavens are born of God, as God foresaw, there are some who will be outside of Christ and others who will be in Christ. The Lord said, “You do not believe, because you are not my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and whoever will snatch them out of my hand. No, my Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand” (John 10:26-29). Therefore, those who are outside of Christ are born of the flesh only, and those who are in Christ are those who have not been born of the flesh but are born again of the Spirit.

For this reason, concerning those who are born again of the Spirit, “Put off the old man, which is corrupt according to the lusts of temptation, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which was created after God in righteousness and holiness ' (Ephesians 4:22-24) And also, "You are of God and in Christ Jesus, who came from God and became to us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, as it is written, He who boasts in the Lord To make them proud” (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).

Those who are of God and are in Christ Jesus are those who are reunited with him from above and with him by faith in him. For this reason, the Bible says about those who are in Christ, “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13) is clearly testifying.

Since we cannot be in Christ Jesus except those who are born of God, and we cannot be united with Christ in imitation of Him except those who are in Christ Jesus, the Bible assumes “if” and says, “If we are united in the likeness of His death, He testified, saying, "If we have become one, we will also become united in the likeness of His resurrection" (Romans 6:5).

Also, concerning those who are in Christ Jesus, the Bible says, “The love of Christ compels us. We think that if one died for all, then all died. He died for all the living. that we no longer live for themselves, but for those who died for them and rose again No, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:14-17).

Anyone who is in Christ says, “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. I live by faith” (Galatians 2:20).

Only those who are found in Christ Jesus are those who work out the righteousness of God by faith and are saved. It is written, “Nevertheless, whatever was useful to me, I counted not only as all loss for the sake of Christ, but also as loss of all things, because of the noblest knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because for his sake I lost everything and counted it waste and to be found in him. My righteousness is not from the law, but it is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God through faith” (Philippians 3:7-9).

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17) Amen, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ..." Thank you, Lord.
