Title Impossible Expert, Jesus / Matthew 9:18-34
Content Impossible Expert, Jesus / Matthew 9:18-34
Key Verse: “Jesus said to him, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He answered, “Yes, Lord” (verse 28b).
Word: In life, we have to ask existential questions over and over again. By asking, “Who am I?” and “Where am I now?”, we must not become blind and lose our humanity.
The Gospel of Matthew is a thorough answer to the question, “Jesus, who are you?” The text culminates in the event that Jesus performed various miracles intensively. The miracle of resurrecting Jairus's dead daughter (23-26), the miracle of healing a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years (20-21), the miracle of opening the eyes of two blind people (27-30), the miracle of being unable to speak because of a demon It is the miracle of healing the man (verses 32-33). Some of them are rich and some are poor. There are wealthy officials and there are women who have become beggars because of disease. There are fathers who are grieving and there are mothers who have lost hope in life. There are blind beggars begging on the street, and there are people who cannot speak because of demons. It was Jesus who solved their problems and met their needs.
Jesus, who are you? In conclusion, Jesus is the problem solver. Regardless of age, sex, possessions, or status, if anyone comes to the Lord Jesus by faith, He will give them peace from the troubles that have plagued them (Mt 11:28). No matter what your motives are, Jesus will solve them all. They come out as spectators, habitually, or as a seeker. But whatever the motive, if you come to the Lord with a humble heart, the Lord will not ask you about the past and will give you peace (John 14:27). Jesus provides solutions at the most appropriate time. Not in my own time, but in God's time and at the most appropriate time (Heb 4:16).
In this way, the Lord solves any difficult problem at the most appropriate time, no matter who's problem or what motive he came from. This is proof that Jesus is the Creator God, the Lord God of power. Raising the dead shows that Jesus is the Lord of life. someone says “We have one God, who is an expert in solving the impossible. He doesn't have two. Let's not say it's too difficult It’s too late and we’re not.”
Jesus, who is he? “Jesus is the God of salvation and the Lord of life, my King.” Now, please turn to God, who is an expert in solving the impossible, who will help you in time of need. “For him is neither too difficult nor too late.”
Prayer: Entrust all problems to Jesus, the expert in solving impossible problems, and help me to become a person of faith who lives a life full of peace. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
