Title Is it Betrayal? answer?

Revelation 3:8 Is this betrayal? answer?
There is an old saying that goes like this. “I rescued someone from drowning, and they told me to bring a bag.” In other words, it is “return grace for evil.” In other words, it refers to harming and betraying rather than reciprocating the grace and love received. And there are songs related to it. This is a song often sung in karaoke rooms by people in their 50s in Korea. And it's a song that often plays when you go to a cabaret where flirty middle-aged people dance. The name of the singer who sang this song is ‘Baeho’. Now, what is the title of this song?
Yes- This is a song titled ‘The Traitor’. I don't know if anyone here knows the lyrics to this song. Let me introduce myself for a moment. “You have left poorly. You left ignorantly. My youth, you trampled on my innocence and left me rudely. Can you hurt the man with long hair and leave alone without any regrets? Traitor, traitor, traitor of love”
However, there are also songs that are quite the opposite of the lyrics of this song. It is none other than Cho Yong-pil's song called 'One-sided Dandelion'. Does anyone know the lyrics of this song too? Would you like to introduce the lyrics of this song for a moment? “I sowed the seeds on the night you gave me. A flower bloomed with the water of love. The heart that we met for the first time, a single heart, a dandelion. That summer, the fisherman's wind, that summer, the fisherman's, the storm It went like a falling leaf. The life of a happy rose I am broken by the rain and wind I am a sad dandelion For a long time I look up to the sky like a day, where can I hear his voice A single heart Dandelion single heart A Dandelion will never leave.”
Listening to these two songs, 'Traitor' and 'One Heart Dandelion', I think it's better to be a single heart dandelion than to be a traitor. We also received so much grace and love from God while we were living our life of faith. How much will the heart of the Lord hurt if we come to Canada and become a traitor of that grace? In the name of the Lord, I pray that the people here will become dandelions with a single heart toward God, not betrayers of faith.
Some people say, “No, what kind of era is it now, and they sing a dreary song like ‘one-sided dandelion’…. Child, unlucky. You might say, “The rice tastes bad.” Yes. It is the last days. In other words, it is an age when single-minded dandelions are precious and there are many traitors. So, in 2 Timothy 3:4, it is prophesied that the age of betrayal will come in the last days.
Ladies and gentlemen, in the last days, politicians easily betray and leave their party and come and go like migratory birds. Businessmen easily betray them and leak their company's secrets to other companies. They also betray their wives and husbands and cheat too easily. Students also betray and curse at their teachers rather than respecting their teachers. Children also betray and disobey their parents who gave birth to them. Furthermore, the children of God also betray the church, the body of the Lord, and harm the church.
In the last days, people who are good at betraying at the right time are thought of as smart people and talented people with good means and resourcefulness. And if such betrayal succeeds between justice and injustice, you are treated like a hero. In the last days, values are so confused that it is impossible to distinguish between what is good and what is evil. They also try to justify themselves by betraying as a group.
To be honest, I hate people who betray me. Moreover, I hate people who smile on the outside and easily betray them overnight. I prefer an honest fool to such a worldly shrewd person. So will you. Think about it. Who do people generally prefer, dogs or cats? I like dogs more. Why? Dogs never betray their owners. However, if a cat is displeased, it will cut it with its sharp claws even at its owner. This is one of the reasons why people prefer dogs. In other words, dogs have the attributes of single-minded dandelions, and cats have traits of traitors.
Even Jesus did not like those who betrayed him. Jesus did not lead Judas Iscariot, who had markedly betrayed him, to heaven. But Peter, who felt threatened by his life, denied knowing Jesus for a while and cursed, repented again and used him as a disciple. We must repent quickly before the betrayal deepens. Otherwise, if you continue to be a traitor and keep an eye on it, you will miss out on opportunities to repent later.
In the last days, the age of suffering will never come because there is no one who has not received God's grace. Rather, even if God's grace is poured out more and more, the age of suffering will come because God betrays him without repaying it. Ladies and gentlemen, how can we dare to stand proudly on this earth as saints if we betray God's great grace and his wonderful love for us?
Ladies and gentlemen, greeting with a kiss in the Middle East is a way of greeting each other with kindness and respect. In the West, it is often greeted with a kiss. This is also a way of greeting the other person with love and affection. French kisses are an exception. But with this kiss, Judas Iscariot was used as a sign to sell Jesus. Judas Iscariot said to the crowd of the high priests: “The person I kiss is Jesus, so hold him.” Having prepared this in advance, Judas Iscariot approached Jesus and kissed him softly, and Jesus said, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” (Luke 22:48)
Isn't it ironic indeed? Kiss and betrayal are incompatible words. But Judas Iscariot was kissing Jesus on the one hand and holding up his sword on the other hand. It is a very thorough and deliberate act of deceiving and betraying. In other words, first-class betrayal. This is because the one who has received more grace is an act of betraying more closely. The Bible prophesies like this to those who betray the Way like this.
“Whoever turns away from the way will be severely punished” (Proverbs 15:10). “I will bring to an end those who have turned away from the Lord and have not followed the Lord, and those who have not sought or sought the Lord.” (Zeb 1:6) “The hand of our God He does good to all who seek him, and his power and wrath to all who betray him” (Ezra 8:22).
In the Bible, God compares the people of Israel to a people who betrayed them and their wife who betrayed them. And to the people of Israel, God is pouring out his heart in this way. “Hear, O heaven. Earth, listen to me. I have brought up children, says the LORD, and they have rebelled against me. An ox knows its owner, and a donkey its owner's manger, but Israel does not know, and my people do not understand. Alas, a sinful nation, a broken people, a seed of iniquity, a child of corruption in their deeds. They have forsaken the LORD, they have neglected the Holy One of Israel, and have turned away from him.” (Isaiah 1:2-4) “Do you repay the LORD in this way, you foolish and ignorant people? .” (Deuteronomy 32:6)
Ladies and gentlemen, today's text contrasts with this verse. Let's read this verse together again. “Look! I have put a door open before you, and no one can close it. I know your deeds, though you have little power, yet you have kept my word and have not betrayed my name.” (Revelation 3:8)
These are the words of the Lord to the Philadelphia church in Asia Minor at the time of the Early Church. In other words, the members of the Philadelphia Church are praising that they received relatively little power and little grace, but they did not betray that grace and kept their single heart to the end. However, the church in Ephesus in Asia Minor at that time was being rebuked by the Lord as the church that betrayed its first love.
Everyone, I want to ask you. Are you a traitor of faith who easily betrays the Lord despite receiving great grace? Or are you a person who is single-mindedly loyal to the Lord despite receiving little favor? The psalmist, a great man of faith, confesses: “With what shall I repay all the favors the Lord has given me?” (Psalm 116:12) And Hymn 404 sings this. “It is impossible to describe in words the great love of God.”
Of course, most people don't give up as long as they continue to be loved, appreciated, respected, or valued. Then they often betray when they feel less loved, less appreciated, a little neglected, or lost in what they need. “Ah, is it really that human beings are only this much?” And sometimes there are sighs.
And you look back on yourself. “Yes, I have also received such great grace from the Lord, and I have received such great love and great power, am I not now a traitor?” Everyone, take a look at yourself. How precious have I really received love from God? And am I living a life that reciprocates that grace? Or do you fall in love with the appearance of coming to Canada and betraying that grace? In the past, he was so loyal and devoted to God, but now he is busy, so he keeps a reasonable distance and tries to believe in God, isn't it? Dear saints, we wish. I pray. “Lord, do not let me betray you until the day I die! Lord, help me to repay Your grace until I die!” Amen!
