Title Is There Hell / Revelation 21:5-8
Contents Based on today's text, we would like to have a time of grace under the title 'Is there Hell? There are many religions and superstitions in the world, and there is one common fact recorded. They say that if you live a good, good and righteous life, you will go to heaven, and if you live an evil and dishonest life, you will go to hell.
This is also the content that all of us, regardless of the East and West, claim the same. Today, we Christians also know that the world is moving on the wheel of God's providence, who creates all things under the world and controls the life and death of mankind, and the wheel of God's work, but the Bible clearly mentions heaven and hell.
Worldly religions explain Heaven and Hell vaguely, but God's Word, the Bible, speaks clearly.
It happened in the United States, when a famous comedian was performing in a theater when a big fire broke out. The comedian exclaimed urgently. "Everyone, there is a fire now. Get out of this place quickly. If you want to save your life, leave this place quickly and escape to a safe place." exclaimed. However, the people who attended did not leave the place as they clapped and shouted, knowing that he was a part of the comedy, and clapped loudly, saying, 'He is really good at acting.' Then, the absurd thing happened, in which many people were burned to death without listening to the comedian.
Also, when we were a colony of Japan during the Japanese colonial period and we were unable to become independent, it was the application of nuclear bombs to the Japanese archipelago that played a role in signaling the end of World War II in the United States. Again at this time, along with the declaration of war by the United States, the Japanese people were told to evacuate quickly through radio broadcasts, and flyers were distributed from the sky telling them to flee. However, we are well aware that the atomic bomb was administered and caused a lot of casualties.
What do the two stories in front of you saints mean for us? When many saints talk about 'hell' today, they take it as a joke, consider it funny, and do not take it seriously. Also, through the computer age, we are indifferent to spiritual things by setting the standard on material values. In this age of paranormal change, which is changing day by day, if you tell the story of hell, you will be bored and mistaken for a story in a fairy tale, but you have to realize that hell does exist.
We all hate to hear this and say it's a boring sermon, but God is speaking about the existence of hell. When we get sick and go to the hospital for surgery, we cut flesh, we are anesthetized, we are in a coma, and we have to be patient, even when fear strikes us. Because after doing so, the surgery can be successful and the disease can be cured.
Even if we do not want to hear the sermon about hell, we must listen to it. We need to be healed by the power of the Spirit to live a spiritually healthy life.
Even if you don't want to hear the sermons about hell right now, don't turn your eyes away and close 'Ah, you are operating on me now' and I hope you become a precious saint who repents and confesses.
This is not to say that I will never preach a sermon on hell. The reason is that when you receive many blessings by affirming the saints, from then on, even if you preach a sermon on the curse, it will not hurt even if you hear the sermon about the curse. Positive people don't hurt to talk about negativity.
But if a poor person speaks of a curse, and a negative person speaks negatively, it is easy to get hurt. So, the priority is to first lead the saints to success and make them positive, and then try to address the points of complementation. Still, there are some people who complain because they have become so positive that they do not preach negative sermons. The motto of our church is a church that instills dreams, love, and blessings. Therefore, please believe that the point is a dream, love, and blessing. Therefore, I hope that your faith will be a faith with a dream and a life with love. So, what exactly is Hell?
First, it is a place where people who do not believe in Jesus go.
Hell is described in many places in the Bible. In the Old Testament, hell is expressed in the original language as 'Sheol' or 'Hell'. It is explained in Genesis 37:35, Job 33:24, Psalm 30:9, Psalm 89:48 and 2 Samuel 12:23.
It is a break with God and can be translated to a place where evil people go, that is, a place where people who do not believe in Jesus go. Also, in the New Testament, it is expressed as 'Geanna' in the original language and 'hell' is usually thrown in the garbage. It can be said to be a disgusting place where the fire is not extinguished, and it refers to a person who despises his brother and his body goes into the fire of hell. (Matthew 5:22)
This hell is the place where those who choose the worldly way, that is, the way of destruction go (Matthew 7:13), those who do not believe in the death of Jesus Christ, the crucifixion (Phil 3:19), and the ungodly (2 Peter 3) :7) and as the words of today's text say, unbelievers, atrocities, murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars
Hell is by no means a place for believers. Hell is a separate issue from those who have accepted Jesus Christ. Look at your prison. The existence of a prison is by no means scary. God did not create hell to send you to hell.
Matthew 25:41 "And he said to those on the left, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." Salvation is definitely achieved through faith, and blessings are rewarded and blessed when they appear through works of faith.
Even if you can't donate for buildings, don't receive tongues, or don't give much, you can receive salvation and possess the kingdom of heaven when you acknowledge, welcome, and receive the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, and believe in the blood of Jesus on the cross. Hebrews 9:27 says, "It is appointed for a man to be born once, and after that there must be judgment."
Second, what does hell look like?
1) Hell is made up of a lake of fire that never goes out. Hell is a more terrifying place than we know. Hell is a place where there is an unquenchable lake of fire.
2) It is a place to grieve and grind your teeth. (Matthew 25:34) Look at the rich man and Lazarus. Our lives are short-lived. Therefore, we must cut off physical pleasures and live according to the Word.
3) Hell is an eternal place. Heaven is not only a permanent place, but Hell is also a place where you will be destroyed forever in pain and tears. If you go to prison by mistake, your imprisonment may be reduced or you may be pardoned depending on the punishment for your crime. But in hell there is no hope. The pain of yesterday, today and tomorrow, and pain, forever, is a place where you are in pain. Some robbers killed a person in 3 minutes, some in 3 hours, and some in 3 days, what is his punishment under the premise that he killed a person? You will receive the greatest punishment for killing someone equally.
4) Hell is a place where all evil beings are mixed. As in verse 8 today, it is a place where people who have committed all kinds of sins live together. We must live separate and holy lives from the world Hell is where all sinners go.
Because our parents believe, I have the illusion that I will be saved because my wife works hard. But the Bible says that it will be according to your faith. What is the purpose of your faith in Jesus? Of course it is salvation.
Voltern, an atheist, said that the Bible would be gone in a hundred years. Later, his house became a Bible Society and the whole house was covered with Bible books. When he died, he confessed, "I am forsaken before God and man." He told the doctor that if you prolong his life for 6 months, he would give him half of his fortune. He was trembling with anxiety, fear and despair, and only had 6 weeks to live. Even the doctor who watched him suffered from a phobia.
Also, a person named Francey Luton, an atheist, said, 'I am forever condemned. I am an enemy of God. Who can save me? I thought there was no hell, curses, and pain, but there is neither hell nor heaven. is said to have died.
He also said that Filch Coldha 'pays the penalty of eternal condemnation'. More importantly, God's Word, the Bible, clearly mentions the existence of hell. Therefore, we must receive the power of the Holy Spirit and live the life that God wants us to live.
When we are filled with the Holy Spirit to overcome sin, cut off the whispers of the evil enemy, the devil, and do our best to save eternity, which is more precious than the world, God will be with us and help us with great blessings. Even now, the people of the world must be precious guides that lead them from hell to heaven, who are waiting for our help. Hallelujah
