Title Isaiah Commentary (15) - Waiting for God

Contents

1. There is a time and a deadline for everything under the heavens.

(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) “For everything under the heavens there is a season and a time to every purpose, a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build up, and a time to weep. A time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to dance, a time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones, a time to embrace and a time to shun the embrace, a time to seek and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to sew There is a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time to war and a time to peace

1) People cannot predict what will happen tomorrow, so they cannot predict the future, boast or despair.

Saeongjima (塞翁之 ): Everything changes so much that it is impossible to predict the fate of life.

A sense of change (隔世之感): A feeling of being very different as if meeting a different generation.

- All people should be humble in their hearts and act with a pure heart in all circumstances.

* Be wary of self-accomplishment due to sudden improvement in circumstances.

* Be wary of self-deprecation or despair because of sudden difficult circumstances.

* One's pride and despair make God and those around him worry.

* Today's good things can turn into tomorrow's difficulties, and difficult things can turn into good results.

* Since we cannot predict tomorrow, we just have to wait in prayer with God.

* You must always have a tidy heart and ask humbly with faith in God.

- There are times in our lives when our judgments of necessity and need are different.

* How often do you regret what you thought was worthless?

* Just as we can feel the same way, there are times and deadlines in our lives.

* All those times and seasons do not belong to us, but to God.

2. Waiting for God.

1) Waiting for the purpose of grace and mercy.

“For the LORD is waiting to be gracious to you, and to have mercy on you, for the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him.”

- God knows who we are. That is, he knows and counts all our thoughts.

* God establishes us as His holy people and children.

(1 Corinthians 1:8) “The Lord will establish you blameless to the end on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

* It is to help his people and children restore their former appearance that resembles them. : shape and shape

* Sometimes God puts His children in a moment of care.

(2 Samuel 7:14) “I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he sins, I will discipline him with a human rod and a human whip.”

* But its purpose is not for pain, but for peace.

(Isa 29:11-13) I know my thoughts toward you, says the LORD, not disaster, but peace, and a hope for your future. You call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. You will find me if you seek me with all your heart

* For this reason, God's grace will surely come to those who cry out and wait.

* Sometimes, for the purpose of God's special plan, He waits until we become worthy.

* Bless those who remain in God's waiting and let them walk in grace.

- In particular, God's wisdom and power add to it, and help you understand and know the truth more.

“The Lord will give you the bread of affliction and the water of affliction, but your teacher will not hide it any more. Your eyes will see your teacher, and whether you turn to the right or to the left, you will hear a voice behind you, saying, This is the way, and you shall say, Walk in it, and you will defile the silver on your carved idols and the gold you put on your molten idols, and you will defile your idols, throwing away unclean things like a hurricane, saying, “Go out.”

* And when those days of worry pass and blessings come true, he blesses the individual and those around him.

* He restores what was lost and makes him honorable to all.

“In the day the Lord binds up the wounds of his people and heals their wounds, the moonlight will be like the sun, and the sun will be sevenfold as the light of seven days.”

Just as we seek and wait for God's grace, so also God waits for us.
