Title Jacob, Life of Faith/Hebrews 11:21

Content Jacob, Life of Faith/Hebrews 11:21

Key Verse: "By faith Jacob, when he died, blessed each of Joseph's sons, and worshiped on the head of his staff" (verse 21).

Just as each day has a beginning and an end, our life also has a beginning and an end. Jacob's life, which started from his mother's womb and a fight with his twin brother, had many unique ups and downs. It is the last time of Jacob, who awaits the call of God. “Your beginning was small, but your end will be exceedingly great” (Job 8:7).

Jacob's beginnings were feeble and insignificant. He had a quarrel with his brother from birth, a man who deceived his parents and brothers, a wretched man who was driven away from home and fled, trembling with loneliness and fear, like a lost bird in the field He was a man who stayed up all night. He had been deceived by his maternal uncle for ten years, and he suffered a lot of pain and suffering because of his children. He had to send his beloved wife Rachel in tears first, and he lost his beloved son Joseph and refused to be comforted by people. It was the person who did it.

He was a humble man, but he made him great in his faith. He does not mourn or mourn at the moment of death, but he is worshiping God and blessing many children. Just as pearls are conceived and come out through pain, Jacob comes out like gold through adversity. A person’s life is not distorted and ruined by suffering, but rather, as iron is refined in a furnace, Jacob was refined through suffering. It is.

Jacob, who has been through a difficult time, is now offering blessings to his children at the end of his life. Jacob confesses that he has been holding on to God's hand all his life. The messenger who delivered him from all tribulation” (Genesis 48:15-16) Jacob waved that it was God, not his mother, who nurtured and guided him from the time he was born, and that it was God, not his father, who protected and helped him during the tribulation. I was able to give a bold blessing in the midst of unbelief.

Jacob is a person with the same disposition as we do. God did not love special Jacob, but loved the ordinary person Jacob. God does not love us because we are special, but because God loves us. God doesn't lead us because we are great and extraordinary, but God's guidance makes us strong and makes us special in the world. God loves Jacob, but he blesses us and gives us faith and confidence to overcome adversity. He loves us, blesses us, and gives us faith and assurance to overcome all adversity. Jacob's life of faith and blessings come from God. Jacob leaves it to his children.

The legacy we will leave for our children we love is not tangible but intangible wealth, faith and the blessing of the name of the Lord. Money and gold tangible wealth will pass away, but faith will not pass away, but will grow in it. What is left behind are not tears of sorrow or sorrow, but prayers of blessing from faith.

Prayer: With confidence in God's guidance, let me walk the path of life with faith and leave it as a legacy. Amen.
