01:2-4 Never give up

We are living in difficult and difficult times right now. In these difficult times, Christians must live a life that never gives up.

Even Christians who depend on Jesus and live by faith can face the storms and trials of life at any time. When we sail the sea of life, ships do not always meet only the wind. Sometimes they encounter an unexpected storm and call for rescue. How should Christians respond when faced with these storms in life? If you look at today's text, you can see that the Lord has given you the answer.

First, when we face the storms of life, we should rather be happy (verse 2). Why should Christians rejoice rather than become discouraged or discouraged when faced with temptation? It is because there is a God who guides us even in the storms of life. Christians must rely only on God who turns crises into opportunities to achieve the ultimate victory.

Second, the ordinal of faith creates the precious jewel of patience. Job, who endured all the trials and tribulations of life, and finally gained victory, confesses. “But he knows the way I go, and after he has tested me I will come out as pure gold” (Job 23:10). The apostle Paul said the same thing in Romans. “We rejoice in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, perseverance character, and character hope” (Romans 5:3-4).

Dear all! No matter how severe the storm may strike our lives, do not give up hope and be patient. No matter what the desperate situation is, I believe that a bright day will surely come if we harden our hearts and persevere in faith.

Third, never give up. In today's text, the Lord says, "Perfect your patience." Simply put, this saying is to never give up. “I never for a moment doubted victory and never gave up. Only hope creates the future,” said Heins Ward, a mixed-race Korean player who led the Pittsburgh team to victory at the American Super Bowl. It was his never giving up faith that made him a victorious life.

No matter how difficult and difficult our life may be, let's never give up. Let's not give up until the end. God is the mastermind of turning a crisis into an opportunity.
