Title James 03:2 Mistakes and Grace
Contents
Topic: Mistakes and grace (James 3:2)
In a square called Competition, there are two ladders rising above the clouds. One is the ladder of success and the other is the ladder of failure. The ladder of failure is always empty because people don't look for it very often. However, on the ladder of success, people who say they are naive, people who say they use their power, and people who are confident that they have wealth, are gathering and hanging on the ladder of success. No one wants to fail. Everyone wants success and wants a happy life. So, those who are caught on this ladder of success sprint to be successful, to have one more, to get even one place higher, to be even a little bit ahead of others.
The important thing to remember here is that, on the other side of the glory of success, there must also be the grace of failure.
What is more important to us is how to deal with failure when it comes to our reality. The Bible gives us a prescription for failure.
everyone fails
Has any of you ever made a mistake? 'I never made a mistake.' That person is either already over or dead. A person who has never made a mistake can be a complete failure. Because he is a person who never ventures to try anything new.
“There is not a righteous person in the world who does only good and does not commit any wrongdoing” (Ecclesiastes 7:20).
Therefore, we must not let our hearts stagnate or lose our enthusiasm due to any mistake.
Failure is not destiny
We sometimes tend to overinterpret some mistakes too much. "I was wrong. I gave up. My life ends here. There is no more hope for me." do. However, the word [a person of faith falls down seven times and gets up again] gives courage and encouragement. A successful person is not one who never fails. A person who rises again by faith.
Failure is not falling. The biggest failure is giving up on trying again.
Are you discouraged that this time has failed? Are you desperate to be ill? I pray in the name of the Lord that you will realize the wisdom of God through failure.
There are benefits through failure
Psalm 119:67 "Before I was afflicted, I went astray; now I learn Your statutes." 119:71 "It is good for me to be afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes."
If a person comes closer to the Word of God through failure, and has a more passionate fellowship with God through failure, that person is not a failure.
"Whenever there is sunlight, it forms a desert. Sometimes it rains on the land. As we go through life, failures shape and nurture our rough character and temperament.
Let's recover from failure with God's grace
Never lose heart in the midst of hardships and failures. Because God sustains the righteous. We pray in the name of the Lord that we will always remember this fact and live a victorious life with God who raises us up again, whether we succeed or fail.
