Title James 05:8-11 Job's patience

Topic: Job's patience (James 5:8-11)
A great disaster struck Job's family suddenly. The people of Sheba took the ox and the donkey and killed the servant, and fire came down from heaven and devoured the sheep and the man. The Chaldeans suddenly ran in and killed the servant and took the camel. A great wind blew and the house collapsed, killing all ten children. In such a short period of time, a series of great calamities struck Job's house.
If this were to happen in your home, what would you do?
Generally speaking, these tribulations and calamities come to fallen people or evil people who do not believe in the Lord and worship the gods bought, but can such calamities come to a godly person like Job??? It is easy to have doubts. Also, even in the case of Christians, I think that there will be many tribulations and trials for those who do not believe in Jesus and just live their religious life in a formal way.
Here's what we need to know. Anyone who believes in Jesus will be saved, have eternal life, and will never be judged. But tribulation and temptation come to everyone. In other words, it is the fact that tribulation and temptation can come to anyone regardless of whether they have faith or not, whether they have received grace or not, whether they have prayed a lot or a little. Therefore, those who believe in Jesus should not only trust God well when all things are going well and peace, but also believe in God well when tribulation, trials, and calamities come. However, there was a greater test that caused Job to want to die. He wondered if he was hiding the glory of God. So, rather than living in obscurity of God's glory, Job thought that if he had not been born, it would have been better for him to die sooner rather than later. This thought tormented him more than his physical pain. No matter how much you pray before God, God does not answer you, so it is a negative thought you have. Job 30:20 says, "I cry to the Lord, but you do not answer me."
In this case, people without faith are more likely to start doubting than whether God exists.
These negative thoughts actually cause more pain and more unhappiness for you than the actual pain you experience. Negative thoughts are like drinking poison. We don't know how much it harms ourselves. Negative thoughts turn a normal person into a useless person. When tribulation comes, when disaster comes, it is a negative thought to be a greater test than tribulation or calamity.
How, then, was Job able to persevere and endure to the end? The secret was his faith. Job was afflicted with fear, but nevertheless, I would rather be comforted and rejoice in heartless pain because I did not disobey the Word of the Holy One.
Job looked only at God and did not stop praying in tears. Also, Job had faith in the resurrection. Job had the faith of transgression. Also, Job remembered God's Word, believed God's Word, and gained victory through faith holding on to God's Word.
I hope you only believe in the word of God, remember the word of God, and live holding on to the word of God. If you do that, I believe you will always win. May that victory be yours
