mature church

(Ephesians 4:11-16)

Hallelujah! Today is the 49th founding Sunday of our Shinchon Church. On May 15, 1955, the people who lost their homes were not disappointed and started a new life together with our Lord, becoming Sinchon Church. (...) 18 years have passed since the division into Manmin Church and New Jerusalem Church in 1982. In 2000, God's will brought the two churches together and blessed them to save souls with power.(...) We are praying for two dreams to come true ahead of our 50th anniversary. One is to use 50% of the budget for missionary work in this area. It is to nurture young Christians who are willing to devote themselves to their country and people. The other is to find and help these beautiful people or to establish a center that supports the necessary activities that the community requires for the community. I call this the Grace Center and pray.(...) I hope that it will become our prayer and vision on the 49th anniversary of the founding.

What does the church do? (...) There are many problems on this earth and in this country (...), but Jesus Christ did not establish the church to solve these problems (..) .) Christianity doesn't just look at the problem itself. Find the source.(...) Christianity believes that all human problems begin with the wrong soul.(...) Salvation of souls... Here is the key to solving all problems.(...) ) The church is a place where we must save souls in sin.(...)

The Church exists for Christ's sake.(...) In other words, the Church is an element of Christ. A church without Christ is not a church, and only that which comes from Christ is the church. Everything the church does is based on Christ (...). In Ephesians 1:23, the church is said to be the body of Christ and the bride of Christ. If the church is the body of Christ, it must live the life of Christ, and if it is the bride of Christ, it must bear and raise his children. This is what a mature church looks like.(...)

1. We must build up the body of Christ.

Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are people who exist because of and for Jesus Christ.(...) Those who are called must live according to the code of God.(...)

2. It must be an unshakable church.

If it shakes, it will not grow. Eventually it collapses. A true bride should boast of her groom and respect her.(...) We have been chosen as brides to boast of our bridegroom, Jesus Christ, on this earth.(...)

3. You must do your best within the abilities you have been given.

A true Christian ethic is to do the best you can within your abilities. A church that does its best in what it loves is a mature church.

When the Lord at the end of the world comes, the first thing to be judged is the church. This is because he entrusted the church with the responsibility to save the world by loving and serving it. Amen.
