God wants us to overcome the tribulation that comes to us with the power of faith. God does not make us escape temptation, but gives us the power of faith to overcome temptation. Refinement through trials and tribulations becomes pure gold.
“For everyone who is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith” (1 John 5:4)
“But he knows the way I go; and after he has tried me I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).
When we face something, if we see only one part of it, we will be tested, but if we look at it as a whole in God's providence, we will come to know that there is God's will and new blessings to use us who have become pure and humble through refinement, and eventually we will grow spiritually. It is very difficult financially these days. When the business doesn't work and the weather gets hot, I get annoyed and nervous. The more difficulties we face, the more we have to deal with them with the wisdom of faith. Just as Jesus always overcame temptations, we must imitate the Lord and have the courage and wisdom of faith to overcome temptations.
