Title John 13:16 - Until great
Contents
Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, and he who is sent is not greater than he who sent him.
I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
1. What God is doing
God is great.
God is greater than Jesus.
God is the sender.
God has always been faithful to what He sent. God has sent His servants in His time. But the world has beaten, killed, or even stoned the servants sent by God. Even so, God has sent His servants in succession. Then God sent His Son, Jesus. God is not the one who sent and did nothing more. Not only did God send, but He also gave work to those who were sent. The servants before Jesus were asked to study Jesus. He even gave the Spirit of Christ so that he could study and diligently search about Jesus. He made it possible to testify in advance of the sufferings that Jesus would suffer and the glory that He would receive later. It also made it possible to consider what time Christ is Jesus and indicates. When the time came, He even sent Him to obey Him.
God sent, and Jesus is the sent one.
God not only sent Jesus, but he did not ignore the request of Jesus who was sent. Whenever Jesus prayed to heaven, God answered all those prayers. That is why he thanked me for listening to me in front of the tomb even when he raised Lazarus from the dead four days ago. Jesus was faithful as the one sent. Jesus was not only the sent one, but he also became the sender. Although Jesus was equal with God, he did not neglect his work as a son when he came to this world and acted. He followed the written word to the extent of thoroughness, and he fulfilled or fulfilled the written word. He has always been dependent on God and has never done anything of himself to the extent that he could do nothing apart from God. What he did so far was to set an example for those whom Jesus would send as the one who was sent.
(1) Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who is sent is not greater than the one who sent it.
God brought only the truth.
Everything Jesus said is true. Not a single thing Jesus said was not true. When Jesus heard what you said, you said Amen before the disciples could even say Amen. Jesus said Amen to your words because your words were full of truth. Anyone can induce the preacher to say Amen to the listener. Even the workers who run away by looking at the wolves, thefts and robbers who do not enter through the door but go to another place can be induced with Amen. Because leading to Amen is just a skill. But when he can first say Amen to the words he is preaching, those words become truthful. Jesus always said Amen to the words of Jesus before they even said Amen to the disciples or the crowd.
God has brought only the truth to you who hear.
Jesus always spoke the truth to his hearers. It is their responsibility whether they hear or not, or whether they have ears or not, so Jesus always told the truth when He spoke His words. A preacher only needs to tell the truth like Jesus. Those who preach the world's words, doctrines, principles, philosophies, literature, ideas, or values because those who hear them do not listen are not those who preach the will of God. He is a person who is only interested in numbers regardless of the content to be faithful only to get more people to listen. Such people cannot say Amen from the words they preach. Even though they are forced to say Amen to those who hear them, they cannot Amen themselves to what they are preaching.
(2) A servant is not greater than his master, and the one who is sent is not greater than the one who sent him.
God is great as the Master.
God is great not only as Master, but as one who is sent. Jesus is also Lord to his disciples. You are not only the Lord, but you are also the teacher. Jesus respected each position. In the relationship between God and Jesus, it is said that God is great because He is the Lord. But Jesus is great because He is also Lord in this world. Clearly, Jesus was also God. He was equal to God. You were one with God. However, when He came to this world, He regarded God as the Master and said that He was great. Jesus also said that he is great as a master and great as a sender to those whom he sends.
God is greater than the servant.
God is great as the one who sent the servant. God has sent countless servants until now. He rewards the sent servants with eternal life for not only being beaten, but even being stoned to death. You are able to do this because you are greater than a servant. So is Jesus. Jesus also rewards his servants with heavenly glory for their suffering in this world. As the sender or master, he is a great man, so he can take responsibility for this kind of compensation.
2. The heart of God
He wants you to know his size as the one who was sent.
God has made Jesus the Lord and the one whom he has sent.
God made Jesus the Lord. You have made me the one who sent you. Jesus is the one who sent as Master, greater than the servant or the one who was sent. Therefore, the example that Jesus set was that he set the example as a master as well as a teacher. This example belongs to an example that no one can set unless God exalts Him higher than Jesus. God made only Jesus the Lord, the teacher, and the sender. He wants to be a person who follows the example that Jesus set, knowing that he can never be greater than Jesus if he is a person sent by Jesus and a servant of Jesus.
Luke 7:28 ?쏧 tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John, but the least in the kingdom of God is greater than him.??
God made John great.
God made us testify through Jesus that there is no one greater than John among those born of women. John was not saying that he was tall because he weighed more or was taller. The reason John was great was because he did what was written. He was better than a prophet and was faithful to his role as Elijah who was to come. They were clothed in camel's hair, and had a leather belt around their waist, and they knew that they could have enough food with locusts and locusts, and they were the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Even so, they belong to a smaller group than those who have already entered the kingdom of God. Because in this world, no matter how big you are, only the violent can enter the kingdom of heaven.
3. Who God is
You are the one who sends
God made His Son Jesus to be both Master and Sender, to send His chosen servants. No matter how great a person is in this world, he is the one who makes him great only when he grows up in heaven.
4. Traces of Jesus (Confession and Sharing)
(1) The blood of Jesus - Failure to fulfill the role of the one who was sent
(2) The life of Jesus - to be faithful to the role of the sent one
5. Prayer
Even though I'm not big enough in this world
As a servant, be faithful to the commands of the master.
As if to be big
Answer the word of the one you sent with Amen
Not following the commandments of the great Jesus
I know that the biggest thing in this world is acorn key resurgence
forgive me
Help me to be recognized as great in heaven.
